Show me someone who's is consistently consistent and I'll show you someone in deep denial.

Peapod,

and in the end its the only journey that was my business

I guess there is the difference. Some people believe that we need to help others around them that are down. Others just don't give a damn. (Pick which category you would fit in and which you would like to be a part of)

JTF,

What was wrong with you and why aren't you still helping them???

It is a well known FACT that the most generous towards the poor and disadvantaged are the various organized religions.

Simply the fact that you question, people that have religious believe regarding their helping the disadvantaged in our society shows your lack of knowledge on the subject.

With that moniker you should really look into the facts before posting.

Twila,

So you like inconsistency. You wouldn't care if the law could choose when to apply the law and when to turn a blind eye.

Isn't consistency what any sane civilization strives to achieve. We want everyone treated the same. Equality. Perhaps I'm wrong but isn't that what the SSM debate is all about. Consistency with human rights.

But excuse me, I against SSM so I don't know what I'm talking about and anything I say is incorrect. Right???

Dude you are so angry, you should try a lone journey on a beautiful lake, you will become so small none of this will matter to you at least for awhile...perhaps in these quiet moments you can free up your mind to allow "human factors" with all there complexities into your thinking. You think black and white.

As for what category well tell you what here is the one I know for sure I do not want to be part of, the kind where doctors are murdered, the kind that tries to imtimdate with fear and violence. The kind that forces women into alleys and on the door steps of butchers. The kind that spreads hate...it shows on their faces.

Equality and consistency are 2 different things.

So you like inconsistency. You wouldn't care if the law could choose when to apply the law and when to turn a blind eye.

No, it allows the law to decide the circumstances and then equate what punishment to give.

You can treat all people with equality, it does not mean that should they commit a crime that you consistently punish them the same. WHy would you punish a serial killer the same as someone who kills in self defence?
