Is that farmer pulling somebody else's loads for hire?
You mean if I'm not pulling somebody else's loads for hire I can drive a tractor/trailer unit with a class 5???

Don't be dim, only an idiot would think that reading up on it was the same as hiring a lawyer. I've seen enough of your posts to know that you with a legal text would be a walking disaster. It is specifically people like you that I think need protection.
I see that you still can't show what part of my post is a lie.

I can but what's the use. It's not like you're going to answer the question.
In other words, you can't.
There are no other words. You are are a liar.
Me too.
But I think you need to read more. Brush up on your reading comprehension.
If you try hard, you'll score 97 percentile on your LSAT.
I`m not arguing what he should or shouldn`t have done. I`m saying that he had no idea what the law was.
Am I to write a novel with each post. Why didn`t you assume there were other factors when you said that as far as you knew, you do not have to pay CST. Is it that you really weren`t that up on the law and had to do some research first
No, I was aware of it. No need for a novel but pertinent facts should be common dog fuk sense. Now is that correct?

I gave you the pertinent facts. He sold his house and was not aware that he owed CGT. That is really the only thing pertinent to my view that our laws and legal system are too complex.
It is, they call it law school.... but if the law is so bloody important in canada -- and it is, violating the law can cost you your job, your family, all your money, your house -- then shouldn't there be better disclosure of all the laws and how important they are? if the law is so important to the government then why isn't it taught in school?
I think you should consider donating your brain to science - after you are dead, of course..........your convoluted style of thinking could be the result of your brain being wired differently and by studying it we might be able to prevent others from suffering the same disability.... could there be a motive for the government keeping the rules semi-secret? could it be in the interests of the government to keep the laws secret so people end up breaking them? it's like speeding laws. if it's against the law to drive a vehicle in excess of 100 km/hr, why does the goverment allow the sale of cars that can go so much faster than that?
If the law were simple to understand, there would be no need for lawyers. And, if simple, lawyers' training could be condensed into a paragraph on a match box cover.

Wickedly wonderful! I love it.![]()
... another example of the canadian government falling flat on its face is regarding the filing of income tax returns ...
... the law states that you have to file an income tax return EVERY year once you start working. EVERY SINGLE YEAR! and if you don't file you can be severely penalized for it. yet this very important law is NEVER disclosed by the canadian government to anyone. if ever there was a law that should be at the very least MENTIONED in school, it's the law that compels people to file tax returns ...
... how lame is that?

I felt a bit of levity was needed.
