Has it occured to anyone that the number of casualties in Lebanon (what? 1200? Less than 2000 by all accounts) is incredibly LOW considering we just saw a six week war that involved one of the best equiped militaries in the world?

Had Israel REALLY been targeting civilians, they could have killed 100 times that number.

AND, I would bet dollars against dimes that 200 or 300 of those "civilians" were carrying AKs or manning rocket launchers shortly before their (to be greatly celebrated) demises.

In fact, Hezbollah failed to create the destruction it desired. The plan was to co-ordinate missile launches, concentrating attacks so that hundreds of rockets would hit the same population centres simultaneously, causing maximum (civilian) casualties.

Unfortunately for these scum, Israeli air attacks so disrupted Hezbollah launch sites that, although they could fire their rockets quickly and hide, they could not co-ordinate their attacks as planned.

You are talking about an organization that used to murder LEBANESE Jews simply because they were Jews. The comparison made by Jason Kenny and supported by Stockwell Day was quite apt; Hezbollah is very much like the Nazi Party when it comes to genocide against Jews.

Thank God we finally have a government with the intellect, and the cojones to actually take a stand.
