Islamic fundamentalism is to the Islam as the Klu Klux Klan is to Christianity.
very true...
except that in our era of 'goD is in the TV', the islamic fundamentalist gets so much publicity and media attention with the world going totally Ga-Ga over terrorism simply because 'guerilla warfare' (which has been used for centuries by small armies and rebellious factions) was used against the almighty America... and they gave it a new fancy name, calling it terrorism and launched full-scale war.
i know i oversimplify but it puts things in perspective when you look at it like this... the West (represented today, by USA) has attacked almighty Allah for years, so almighty Allah strikes at almighty America (Great Satan ^_^ lol) and now almighty America strikes at almighty Allah...
(*the labels are purely irony and my twisted humor. ^_^)
but the essence of the issue... the muslims now feel their religion (Allah) has been attacked... while americans feel their 'religion' (their homeland) has been attacked...
but its really all politics.. the same political game where the pawn knows not what the hand that controls him really wants, but sacrifices himself in his ignorance anyway. the only people who gain are the ones running BOTH sides.
and we here bicker like fools... "who are the terrorists? and who arent?".. but we're all pawns too.. pawns of the media, the governments,...
not just americans or muslims or any particular person... im talking of everyone on this planet who lets their opinion be confined by what they see on their favourite news channel when they have all the billions of perspectives and analyses available on google.. why people dont take active interest in anything but 'sitting and watching the game' or 'going clubbing with the girls' defies my imagination.
