You're looking for a rational explanation for someone who is obviously a very sick individual
Nobody rides the bull like Trump. I think it'll carry him into a second term. Especially when you look at the state of the Democratic Party, which has fractured into tribal and ideological ghettos.. or the quality of its Presidential Candidates, none of whom can claim to anywhere near the comprehensive, unalloyed, political vision, that Trump is riding.

In clinical terms: he is decompensating ..rather rapidly. He spends more time degrading chosen victims than actually working. What exactly is he achieving.......policy wise??
And NO...one does not need to be in the mental health or unhealth field to see that he is NOT "normal" His preferred tactics are intimidation, degrading;m insults , name calling ........... He sounds like a child showing off his bad attitude to the world at large.
Suspect that in any other country...... he would not have been elected......but if he was.......he would ha e been removed rather quickly due to mental disorder and incompetence.

Interesting point. People like him......can almost sense who they can manipulate more successfully and with his aggression........ can dominate them........ with threats and belligerence. The republicans ...as he has made them now......are afraid of him..........which is what he wanted. He controls with fear tactics.

It's pretty weird. I think that he's a bundle of fear but psychologically ill people like Trump may not be realistic enough about what is going on around them to be afraid.
So now the slimiest guy on the forum is going to start talking about integrity!

valid point. and concerning. If he does not have the awareness to even know when to be afraid..........then the psychopathy is is quite disturbing. That could explain his cold indifference & verbal cruelty. . and he is cruel.
