I think you're better off asking whether rich people get together and plot strategies to help each other and thereby themselves to get richer and do they try and keep those plans to themselves. The answer is that of coarse they do and it's properly called business.

So what if they're real?
There are probably thousands of business groups we don't know about plotting all sorts of things. That's how the world works. People with power get to decide where and how their money is going to be used, sometimes they work together, mostly they don't.
I've seen the supposed Bilderburg "roster" and there is absolutely no way those people are all working together on anything. Just about all of them would **** the other over for a dime. If anything they're likely just trying to figure out how to save their asses.

As recent a few years ago a simple symbol would make someone run for their lives. Try wearing a swastika in a synagogue sometime and see the power of symbology at work. The same could be said for any Christian 100 years ago.
