One could also make the argument that the situation perceived/advertised as a problem was not actually a problem to those who count.

So?This isn't about Bush... It's about Obama, his promises, "Yes We Can", etc..
You expected Obama to right Bush's mess overnight? His first week? His first month? His first term?Obama DID understand the mess that Bush left and vowed to correct the situation.. Has he?.. No,
So? Sometimes things get worse before they get better.in fact, one could make the argument that it's getting worse.
Nope, it wasn't Lincoln.

Still moaning about people mentioning Bush as having something to with how Obama is conducting the presidency? tsk tskGood point!.. Afterall, why let those pesky little election promises get in the way when you can blame Bush in perpetuity.
So it looks like Obama is driving towards a cliff? Who is to say that he doesn't turn before then? Who is to say a bridge won't be built by the time he gets there? Who says there isn't a hidden road down the cliff?:roll:That's what he said he'd do, but as we are seeing, it appears that he's turning a 2-alarm fire into a 20-alarm fire.
Here's an analogy for you:
A guy buys a plot of land. On the land is a building that the previous owner had let run down. New owner wants to erect a new building. He tears the old building down and people like you see the mess and want the new owner hung.
Well for Christ's sake don't leave me hanging... Who?
That's a narrow-minded viewpoint. If someone wants to build a house that's a different plan than the old house, would it make sense to put the new house on the old foundation? That's just stupid. It's never going to be any better than its foundation despite the importance you place in paint and trim.
It was Reagan.
If I were allowed to vote, I would have said Reagan too, just for the fact that he was harmless as a fly while being entertaining at the same time. Ahh, nothing like those Reagan Gobachev days during the cold war...
Obama is reaching into the future, stealing our childrens money, and throwing it like confetti hoping somehow it will work. Pelosii and Obama are using the crisis as a giant social experiment, they have no idea what the hell they are doing. This is all one big blind faith mess of an attempt to turn America into a European style socialist nation and its utterly failing.
Obama is using "trickle down spending"...he is throwing BILLIONS at corporations and executives hoping it will all trickle down to you and I. . What a miserable failure
OBAMA. WORST. PRESIDENT. EVER.
What do you think
They say that about every President, who was the most loved President is a better question in which U.S. Citizens would probably hail George Washington as their hero and then most likely Thomas Jefferson in second place...
wow For someone claiming to be military, you sure haven't a clue about political history. And here I was thinking that the Canadian military was pretty choosy about who it let in.If I were allowed to vote, I would have said Reagan too, just for the fact that he was harmless as a fly while being entertaining at the same time. Ahh, nothing like those Reagan Gobachev days during the cold war...
the health care reforms is not gonna work at all my friend.
its just gonna take more money from us the citizens that pay taxes and It shows that the reforms won't fundamentally change the runaway pace of US health spending including both public and private-sector dollars. With or without reform, the overall US medical bill will account for about 21 percent of gross domestic product in 2019, or 3 percentage points higher than today, according to a recent analysis done within the Health and Human Services Department. so this is just a wack reform thats just gonna hurt our country BAD!
