Is Justin's Gov't starting to wobble?

If things are in the toilet because of the government, then it ain't because of a 3 month old government that has set for not much more than a week in the house. It would be because of what the previous government left behind. That is, if the government is the reason.

I'd say things are in the toilet mainly because of the economy - shortage of money, or more likely money being used improperly. I think where Justin fits into the equation is his propensity for trying to please everyone which is only possible as long as he is only talking. Put all those promises in gear and we'll be totally bankrupt.

We are in the midst of an economic war both as attackers and victims. Oil producing Provinces are taking one for the team. It'll be over soon.

I'm not so sure it will be over that soon. China wants to dump the Green Back as its preferred world trading reserve currency. That means the Saudi's have a lot of US dollars to dump before they become worthless. They will run deficites until the reserves are spent.

This thread is more funny than it is anything else.

First, the Government does receive training on how to "run a government." That is why the privy council office exists. Ministers do not run the government; they set policy, inform the development of strategic direction, function as the link between the executive and the legislature, and are accountable to the legislature for the total organizational performance of the Government of Canada. Ministers are responsible for governing, and this is separate and distinct from managing.

Second, the economic collapse in Alberta started well before the Right Hon. Justin Trudeau P.C., M.P., took office. This Government inherited a mess from the Conservatives. The sudden exodus of investment in Alberta is not because Mr. Trudeau is prime minister, nor is it because the Liberals have formed government; rather, it is because the price of oil has plummeted. Those same Conservatives who decry government economic intervention are now blaming government for the price of oil... that's so much of a stretch that somebody is going to sprain something.

You just keep telling yourself that.

Not nearly as funny as the following quote from your post

Seeing how the Ministerial Policy is an extension of what Justine commands, and the individual MPs 'vote' along Party lines (assuming they want to remain in said Party), then we can safely say 'Yes', the Ministers do run gubmint at the pleasure of the PM

This Government inherited a mess from the Conservatives.

How awful!

Trudeau should resign until he can inherit something more productive, or at least another trust fund or such

The exodus of investment has everything to do with the actions of the provincial NDP gvt in addition to the flaky stance of the Federal gvt in terms of resource extraction and market access.

... You do recall that Justine did want the intl community to recognize Canada for its resourcefulness, right?

Or we could accept the Conservative narrative that Alberta and the Canadian economy were doing just fine the entire time that the Conservatives held government here in Canada! Everything was splendid. On November 4, 2015, though, when Mr. Trudeau was sworn in as prime minister, the economy in Alberta suddenly collapsed. It has everything to do with economic policy changes brought in by the Liberals*, and nothing to do with the fact that Alberta's economy is completely dependant upon finite fossil fuels.

* It is an inconvenient truth, for the Conservatives, perhaps, that this is complete non-sense. If they are to blame the economic policies of the government, then they really need to take a long, hard look in a mirror. The only actual policy change that has passed all legislative stages in Parliament is the change to the middle-class tax bracket, and the introduction of a new bracket for individual income-earners making $200,000 or more.

Everything else is still the economic policy of the previous — Conservative — government.

So if government is to blame, cool.

I agree with you wholeheartedly, Conservative forum-friends, that the Conservatives are to blame.

Has a plan been proposed to investors? Has Justin given any vision to navigate the difficult times? Nothing. And now we are 90 Billion dollars shorter in Canadian investments that likely will not be returning.

We all understand that you will be blaming Harper for decades to come for demanding the Canada take in 25,000 Syrian refugees by December 31, 2015.

.... Say, how'd that all work out anyways?

Has a plan been proposed to investors?

Yes... Investors will rush to invest billions into knowing about the resourcefulness of Canadians

Has Justin given any vision to navigate the difficult times

Selfies

And now we are 90 Billion dollars shorter in Canadian investments that likely will not be returning.

Untrue. There is a huge opportunity to supply warm jackets and fuzzy mittens to terrorized refugees all across the globe.

So our government's priority these first 3 months was getting 25 000 refuges moved here to Canada? And not a thing was done to retain 90 billion dollars of investments?

That's pretty much it, other than you're forgetting about raising the taxes on those folks that may have potentially been a part of that $ 90 billion investment pool.

Well I don't think Canada will ever recover from this.

Sure we will, the question is when and the answer to that is dependent on when Canada gets a Federal gvt that is prepared to develop the economy as opposed to offering just platitudes and selfies

I get where you're coming from.

Fact is, Old man Trudeau caused huge damage to Canada and there is the chance that his offspring will too. Hopefully, the electorate will remove him in 3/12 years

About the handiest thing Justin is able to do is come up with "catch phrases".

Stop, you're coming across as a brainless ideologue who can't think for himself. Unless, of course, that's your whole purpose in this thread.
