It's scary, but there's nothing to be done. Japan will continue to poison the ocean and feed poisonous food to their lifestock and people. The air has been poisoned as it circulates the earth. Stay out of the rain and avoid any foods produced in Japan for a very long time.

When hasn't TPTB (local Governments) practiced that same method is the last 100 years? Some intentionally experiment on their own citizens. If the area was so benign the Gov would have relocated their offices from Tokyo closer to the wrecked plant rather than further away from it. Have the people 'insist' that they live in the areas they are claiming are safe for children and eat the same food, see how resistant they will be to that idea and you have the truth about how dangerous that place really is.

lol Never had one really, I know hard to believe but there it is. The guys working in Chernobyl seemed to go more for the wrapped up in saran-wrap look. Just sayin, ...... metal might make things worse.

Melt downs are COOL! We hould have more because they're safe like a weiner roast on a campfire.. Radiation hasn't killed anyone yet.

10 Sieverts is as much radiation as the Geiger Counters could read. Anything more would just register as 10.
The first 10+ Sievert readings were detected between reactors 1 and 2, at the base of a ventilation stack.
Could that be near where the molten slag was?
Just wondering.

Fukushima nuclear power plant radiation recordings of external gamma radiation have been so high this week, they went off scale said veteran nuclear expert Arnie Gunderson on Thursday after the famous physicist, Dr. Chris Busby told the Japanese people this week that radioactive air contamination there is now 300 times that of Chernobyl and 1000 times the atomic bomb peak in 1963, inferring that hundreds of millions of people are now dying from Fukushima radiation, including people in the United States.

Doctors in Japan are already treating patients suffering health effects they attribute to radiation from the ongoing nuclear disaster.
“We have begun to see increased nosebleeds, stubborn cases of diarrhoea, and flu-like symptoms in children,” Dr. Yuko Yanagisawa, a physician at Funabashi Futawa Hospital in Chiba Prefecture, told Al Jazeera.

The amount of water in Northern SK that is contaminated is mind boggling. The sq km of lakes probably equal the square km of land the mass of Japan.

For several months, there has been a news blackout in the United States concerning the devastation and human suffering caused by a 9.0 earthquake that rocked the east coast of Japan on March 11. The resulting tsunami claimed nearly 16,000 lives and made hundreds of thousands homeless.
On the island of Honshu, three reactors at the Daiichi nuclear power facility in Fukushima went into full meltdown. Explosions and fires caused additional damage to other reactors and released vast quantities of poisonous radioactive materials into the environment. Livestock, crops and drinking water within a 75-mile radius of the accident were immediately contaminated. Now, reports of lethal doses of radiation as far as 200 miles away are starting to become more commonplace.

It appears the government agencies of other nations cooperated with Japan while the international nuclear industry sided with TEPCO’s (Tokyo Electric Power Company) disinformation and denial campaign.
As Mike Adams noted in his April 5th, 2011 Natural News article on Fukushima:
“The government is going to turn off the radiation detectors, raise the official EPA limits of radioactive exposure, urge Americans to avoid preparing for fallout, and then pretend absolutely nothing is wrong.”
