Iran has been in the news a lot lately, trying to “not” have violence spread into a larger Middle Eastern conflict, while spreading violence in the region into a larger Middle Eastern conflict…or at least it sure seems like it from the outside looking in.
Azerbaijan promised a response after it said Iran’s regional attacks had spread to its territory, and Saudi Arabia said it intercepted missiles and drones.

The scope of “Operation Epic Fury,” which U.S. Central Command’s Adm. Brad Cooper says has hit more than 2,000 targets so far, is forcing U.S. military commanders to make difficult calculations about how quickly their Iranian adversaries will burn through their own munitions — even as President Donald Trump says the war may last four to five weeks.

Top Pentagon leaders dedicated considerable time at a news briefing Wednesday morning to addressing worries the military is reaching too deeply into its inventory at the cost of readiness. “We have sufficient precision munitions for the task at hand, both on the offense and defense,” said Gen. Dan Caine, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, without offering specifics or numbers.
Countries around the world are now scrambling to figure out how to backfill the abrupt halt of LNG shipments from Qatar, which accounts for one-fifth of the world’s supply. Asian spot LNG prices surged nearly 40 percent in the couple of days and a key index of future LNG prices in Europe jumped 70 percent since Friday.

(LNG is also a crucial component in fertilizer….& it’s Spring planting season for the northern hemisphere)

CNN doing their best to highlight the atrocity focusing on the humanitarian side.

Strong words from Mike Pence, calling it 47 years of hatred for America.

What's the difference between an Iranian with a flag in Canada and a Palestinian.

The Iranian in Canada is happy the Ayatolla is dead and celebrating the possibility of hope after 47 years of living under the boot of a death cult.

The Palestinian, taking time out from burning our flag and chanting Death to Canada, is mourning the Ayatollah.

Palestinians need to rethink their River to the Sea strategy, because the Ayatollah Sugar Daddy won't be funding his baby momma bitches anymore.

You're really out to lunch. Post when you come down from orbit.

Palestinians won. Israel is the sore loser who can't stop murdering.

Jews are mythical. Iranians and Palestinians are real.

How many refugees are we taking in and how do you feel about this setting up President AOC in two years?

Iran-backed militias around the Middle East are intensifying attacks against Israel, the US and their allies, in retaliation for the ongoing joint US-Israeli offensive against Tehran as the war draws in new armed actors, threatening wider chaos and violence.

They started “retaliating” 29 months ago (Pre-Emptive Retaliation?) before this current ongoing joint US-Israeli offensive against Tehran…but that’s neither here nor there I guess…🤫

Retaliate long enough and you’ll have something to retaliate against I guess. Sounds like Iran has retaliated against 12 of its neighbours, so far…preemptively.

More math needed. You forgot the 7 NATIONS Israel bombed in one year and still occupies 3 nations illegally. They aren't victims.

And Im a hateful antisemitic prick?

FUCK YOU ALL

fuckingThis is INSANE. Military commanders told troops Trump was "anointed by Jesus" to start the apocalypse in Iran, according to over 200 complaints. Since Saturday, the Military Religious Freedom Foundation has been flooded with complaints from service members in every branch of the armed forces.

By Tuesday, the number exceeded 200 complaints spanning more than 50 military installations. The through line is the same every time: commanding officers are telling troops this war is biblically ordained and the bloodshed is necessary to fulfill Christian prophecy.

One noncommissioned officer reported that during a combat readiness briefing, their commander told the room everything happening in Iran was part of God's divine plan, complete with citations from the Book of Revelation.

The commander reportedly had a grin on his face while delivering the message. The complaint was filed on behalf of 15 troops. Eleven of them are Christian. This is not about offended atheists. These are believers who know the difference between faith and apocalyptic war propaganda.

MRFF founder Mikey Weinstein said commanders are not just invoking prophecy but are actively excited about how violent the conflict needs to become to align with end-times theology. Military leaders are reportedly thrilled at the prospect of maximum bloodshed because they think it brings Jesus back.

This didn't come from nowhere. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth launched monthly Christian worship services at the Pentagon last summer and recently invited Doug Wilson, a Christian nationalist pastor who opposes women's right to vote, to lead one.

At a recent convention, Hegseth declared that advancing the administration's agenda is "not political" but "biblical."

Weinstein warned that when Christian nationalism infiltrates the institution that controls nuclear weapons and armed drones, it is an immediate threat to global security.

Two hundred service members risked their careers to sound this alarm. The question is whether anyone with the power to act is listening.
This is the problem with letting religious fruitcakes get into positions of power. I don't mean the people that believe in a higher power, but the fanatics. In reality, there is no real difference between a muslim fanatic or a christian fanatic. Both want to impose their warped idealism on the rest of the world, and give people of faith a bad name.
