Two Japanese oil tanks were reportedly hit in suspected attacks on Thursday, of the Iranian coast, in the Gulf of Oman, forcing the evacuation of both ships' crews.

According to reports, Japan's Trade Ministry have confirmed the two vessels were carrying "Japan-related cargo" at the time of the attack.

Reports also put the tankers in the same area where the US accused Iran of attacking other oil ships with naval mines in the previous month.

Iran's FM Javad Zarif posted in English on his Twitter account: "Reported attacks on Japan-related tankers occurred while PM @AbeShinzo was meeting with Ayatollah @khamenei_ir for extensive and friendly talks. Suspicious doesn't begin to describe what likely transpired this morning. Iran's proposed Regional Dialogue Forum is imperative."

Iran: Oil tankers reportedly attacked in Gulf of Oman - Iranian state TV

Well after all the events the US has falsley blamed on leaders like Assad and Maduro which have turned out to be totally un true, many have been expecting a questionable attack like this to get the party started over near Iran.
;)
The last false flag attack a couple of weeks ago was a dud. Wet lather wash rince dry repeat.

The price of oil has to be kept up by creating trauma in everyone else's oil patches one way or another. The fact that the oil wars have gone on despite radical changes in US and other western country's leadership shows who is really running things.

Middle East Torpedo Attacks Send Oil Prices Soaring

Oil prices surged early on Thursday after two oil tankers were reported to have been hit by explosions in the Gulf of Oman between Iran and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), a month after a previous incident in Middle Eastern waters.

As of 09:35 a.m. EDT on Thursday, WTI Crude was surging 3.17% at $52.76, while Brent Crude was soaring 3.42% at $62.02, as renewed tension in the Middle East has the market worried that oil supply along the world’s most important chokepoints in the region may be under threat.

The suspected attacks occurred one month after the UAE said in May that a total four vessels were attacked off its coast at the port of Fujairah, the world’s second-largest bunkering port.

In today’s incidents, a Marshall Island flagged tanker, the Front Altair, was attacked between the Emirates and Iran in the early morning local time, the Norwegian Maritime Authority said, adding “There were reportedly three detonations on board the ship. The crew have been rescued by a passing ship and no injuries are reported.”

The Front Altair ship is on fire, while a second tanker, the Kokuka Courageous, has reportedly also been attacked in the same area, the Norwegian authority said.

The below video shows aerial footage of one of the tankers:

Feel that knife in your ribs yet?

As is normally the case I fail to see how this is a win for you personally.

LOL,...and I'm not going to tell you how getting it right is a win for me.
( It isn't like I haven't made comments on that before, especially about oil, price hikes and false flags, and knowing when there is going to be one - they always announce they are coming up in various ways)
;)
If you have any kind of portfolio at all you may want to pay attention.

That's why it's obvious you do not.

So they are going to drop the interest rates now, not raise them like they said before, eh?
;)
tsk tsk...

What would a renewables false flag look like?

Japan Strives to Keep Importing Iranian Oil Despite US Sanctions

Japan’s energy policy towards Iran has been an area of struggle for independence from the United States for four decades.

Even when Japan tried to pursue its own energy policy towards Iran, the US has generally had the final say. From Japan’s point of view, however, the US stance towards Japan-Iran energy relations has toughened gradually since the 1979 revolution...

...Nevertheless, Japan will still try its best to save the JCPOA for it also fears that the collapse of the agreement would exacerbate instability in the Persian Gulf region.

Thus Japan is trying to establish a mechanism to pay for Iranian oil ...

The Victims were Japanese who were looking to use something other than the USD to pay for oil.

Not that I see this for sure in the immediate future, but just for a minute imagine all the oil stops flowing for any length of time for any reason, or the price of oil goes through the roof, or the dollars we pay for the oil with drop to nothing...and also throw in global cooling and a banking crisis...just for good measure.

Yep we could use another $10.00/brl to kick start our oilpatch over the cost of the Carbon tax

You failed because you didn't bother to check who bought a lot of oil on speculation the price would rise. Something along the line of a refinery in the UK having problems seen the gas in Canada rise enough to cover the cost of the repairs and then some.

It's this, or a trillion in oil fracking credit going tilts up from too low of a price will explode the whole U$ economy too.
