The second point:

2- Some Quran revelations or ayat indicate that the Prophet at the start was doubting about the Quran and about his prophet-hood and apostle-hood.

"When the revelation was sent down to Mohammed, at the beginning, and he invited his people to the Islam, they refused to convert, and started to mock at him, and said that the one who has brought the revelation to you is one of genies and not one of angels, and that if God willed to send any messenger, He would have sent the angels! That is His saying – be glorified – in the Quran 23: 24, telling about the claim of the idolaters, and which means:

(“Had God willed [to send any messenger], He could have sent down some angels [out of heaven.] We have never heard of such [an invitation to monotheism] among our forefathers.”)

So Prophet Mohammed went back, doubting within himself, feeling humiliation; and he said [to himself]: If I were a messenger [or an apostle] and if what I heard from the angel was true, then those people would have converted, resigned and believed me!

He's a religious zealot who is too stupid to realize that he does more harm than good for Islam. At least people who didn't know much about Muslims have now seen that they are nuttier than Charles Manson.

The purpose of this oy vey is to describe the beauty of Hasidic hats.

It was a wonderfully sunny day in Jerusalem. The bird was singing, tourists were milling around. (The government insists they make their own bread from scratch when visiting), and we were hanging out at the Waylon Wall. When Waylon had the wall put up, a few of the city residents were not good with it, but they "disappeared" somewhere.

I've always been a collector of Hasidic hats. Hasidic hats belong at the Waylon Wall. They are like old western hats, but with prayers coming out from underneath. Here's a pic.

See what I mean?

For man, it is important to cover your head when at the Waylon Wall. It shows respect for Waylon and also keeps the sun off your head. Just remember, the sun, like men with swords and beards, more than likely want to kill you, so be prepared.

This ends the oy vey.

A British Chicken

Pardon me, but I believe atmospheric conditions have deteriorated to the point where the atmosphere is collapsing. The Muslims might be the cause perhaps?

It's important.

It's also important when in Jerusalem to Bossa Nova through the streets. Best to BN with Paul Anka because he's of Syrian descent (but a Christian). selfsame's friends would be confused, but the music would move them and everyone could dance through the streets. BTW, did you know Paul is worth about 60 million US?

These are some indications of the truthfulness of Prophet Mohammed and that the Quran is revealed from God the Lord of the heavens and the earth:

1- A large number of the Quran revelations start by the word (Say), which means: Say to them, O Mohammed.
I made a search about the word (Say), and it was 617 ayat (about 1/10 of the Quran ayat) including the word: (Say), which means: Say to them, O Mohammed.
What kind of logic leads you to conclude that a verse that begins "Say to them, O Mohammed" indicates that what follows is true? You're just assuming that the instruction comes from god, which is a logical fallacy called begging the question, you're just assuming the truth of what you're trying to demonstrate.

Should we conclude that because only about a tenth of the ayat begin that way, only a tenth of them are true? That's also faulty logic, but it's less faulty than yours.

A true appreciation of the Gods, rains of fire and brimstone, common weather some days, sometimes the sky falls despite that fukkin stupid chicken.

God threatens people that if they keep to their wrong-doing, He will destroy and punish them severely, so as to frighten them so that they may act well.

Today, I saw in TV of GW: the German channel in Arabic: A man a Christian, a member of the government of the South of Sudan (am not sure of his identity); he was a black African; so the TV man asked him: Why do you use force and buy weapon?

The African man answered (and he was truthful in this point): I want to protect the Ten Commandments; people in general do not have the Godfearing, but they fear of the powerful ruler.

You and I do also fear, or else the human soul is prone to evil in one way or another.

Therefore, the frightening of man; you cannot deny this; it influences everyone; everyone knows if he contradicts the law, there will be the prison and the punishment.

Even the angels and prophets: these fear God more than other people do.

The people in Paradise: they fear God, so they do not disobey Him anymore: (because they saw the prosperity of Paradise in Heaven, and they saw Hell with their sights: There is an aya of the Quran speaks about this, but I cannot tell all the ayat of the Quran now altogether) , the angels fear God so they do not disobey Him; all the prophets fear God.

God frightens His servants, and then when they will come to Him in the Next Life, He will say: Didn't I tell you to fear Me, and to beware of My severe punishment; so why did you disobey Me; therefore, now suffer the punishment.

Quran 4: 131, which means:
{We recommended those given the [heavenly] Book b before you, as [have We recommended] you [in the Quran] that "you should ward off [God's punishment, and give the Zakat-alms to the poor and the needy c]}
-----------------------------------------------------------------

131 b i.e. those to whom We gave the heavenly books: the scripture of Abraham, the Torah of Moses, the Psalms of David and the Gospel of Jesus.
131 c And don't be miser about them; because the stinginess is a sort of denying God's bounty.

Today, I have a selected reading from the Book of Oy Vey. Why Jewish comedians are funny. This was written by Henry Morgen, oy vey, he's dead!

Life Savers candy was an early Morgan sponsor, but dropped him after he accused them of fraud for what amounted to hiding the holes in the famous life saver ring-shaped sweets.

"I claimed that if the manufacturer would give me all those centers," Morgan remembered later, "I would market them as Morgan's Mint Middles and say no more about it."

source - Jewish Comedians of the 20th Century, Weintraub, 2001

What this oy vey means is that companies and people do not always understand what it being said. They take things too literally, and bad things happen. Like the day I picked my nose and it started to bleed.

Oy vey!

This ends the lesson.

When God reveals to any prophet, what will He tell him? God will tell him: Say to people so and so.

So the prophet hears the revelation, and will tell people about it.

Moreover, so many times, the Prophet was asked: What's the meaning of this aya? He answered: I don't know; I heard it from the angel in this way.
http://quran-ayat.com/pret/intro.php#The_Ambiguous_and_the_similitude
quran-ayat(dot)com

Moreover, see this point:
At the start when the angel came to the Prophet with the revelations, the Prophet forgot some of the revelations (which were instructions from God and answers to some questions of the Prophet, but such revelations were not part of the Quran, or else it would have become a very extensive book) ... so the Prophet forgot some revelations, and he was much embarrassed from this.
Therefore, and in order not to forget, he started to read with the reading of the angel: i.e. before the angel complete his reading of a new revelation.
So God forbade him from this in these ayat:

[When Gabriel came to the Prophet and recited the revelation to him, the Prophet started to read simultaneously with him in order to know it by heart, so that he might not forget it; therefore, His saying – be glorified – was revealed:]

Quran 75: 16- 19, which mean:
{16. [O Mohammed] move not your tongue with the [Quran revealed to you by Gabriel] to hasten [to learn] it [by heart, or lest you might forget it.] a

17. It is up to Us to collect it and to recite it. b

18. So, when we [: Gabriel] recite it, follow [and recite] after his recitation [to ensure that you have learnt it by heart.] c

19. Then, [after a long period of time] We will explain it [to people d.]}
...............................................................................

16 a It means: Do not hasten to learn it by heart, so that you recite simultaneously with Gabriel, but wait until Gabriel finishes the [Quran] recital, then do you recite it [after him.]

17 b It means: We will prepare some men after you to collect the Quran, and other men to recite it; therefore, do not fear that some of it may be lost.
In fact, after the Prophet’s death, the Quran was collected by Zayd son of Salama [The translator: or he was Zayd son of Thabit?]; and that was according to the command of Othman son of Affan in the time of his caliphate.

18 c It means: Then if Gabriel recites and completes his recital, then read you after him.

19 d It means: After a long period of time, We will explain to people, the ayat of the Quran that are ambiguous to them, and the statements of the Quran about which they are confused.
Therefore, it is the 'censuring soul' [: the Paraclete or the Comforter], who will bring the explanation of the ambiguous ayat of the Quran.

Similar to this in meaning, is His saying – be glorified – in the Quran 38: 88, which means:
(And you [people] shall surely come to know the explanation of [the ambiguous ayat of the Quran], after a [long period of] time.)

In fact, God – be glorified – has inspired its explanation into me [Mohammed-Ali Hassan Al-Hilly, the interpreter of the Quran and the Bible], and expounded to me its statements about which people are confused; all that is according to what my Lord taught me, Whose favor on me is so tremendous.

=======================================================================

There is another aya which confirms this meaning:
Quran 20: 114, which means:

{Then exalted be God the True Sovereign! d

But hasten not to [recite] the Quran before its revelation is completed to you [Mohammed] e,

and say: "My Lord, increase me of the knowledge.
f "}
.................................................................

114 d i.e. His attributes are exalted above the attributes of created beings whom they considered as associates of God.

114 e i.e. Don’t hasten to recite the Quran before Gabriel ends his conveying of the Quran. That is because the Prophet – salam to him – started to recite together with the reciting of Gabriel, fearing lest he might forget it.

114 f About what you revealed to Your prophets in the heavenly books and about their stories.

This next reading from the Book of Oy Vey! Why Jewish comedians are funny, concerns Joey Bishop. Before I begin, I should explain that Joey is not his real first name! What Jew would call his kid Joey? It's as silly as calling him Scooter. Also, his last name was not Bishop, but many years ago, it was the practice for Jewish performers, not just comedians, to adopt a nice goyim name. Sometime in the 1940s, Joseph Abraham Gottlieb became Joey Bishop.

Okay, now that's out of the way, let's get onto the funny stuff. I'm not sure if Joey wrote this himself, or paid a joke writer.

"Anybody tells you you're a good audience, you punch 'em right in the mouth."

What this oy vey means is that by teasing the audience, you can make fun of them but still get a laugh.

This ends the lesson.

The second point of the post #19:

The Prophet at the beginning doubted about his apostle-hood:

[At the beginning, when the revelation to the prophet – salam to him – commenced, and he invited his people to the Islam, they refused to convert and become Muslims, but they started to ridicule him, and they said: "The one who brought to you the revelation is one of the genie and is not in fact an angel; and had God wanted to send any apostle, He should have sent some of the angels."

So the prophet returned conceiving within himself some doubt about that, and felt inferiority, and he thought: If truly I had been any prophet and if that which I heard had been true, then these men should have believed in me."

Therefore, this aya was revealed to him in order to assure him, and to affirm him in his mission, and so that he should not hesitate:]

Quran 10: 94
{94. And if you [Mohammed] are in doubt of [the revelation] that We have sent down to you, then question those [Jews] who read the Scripture [that was] before you a.

The truth, indeed, has come to you from your Lord [not from genies b];

so be not of those who waver c.}
.....................................................................

94 a And say to them: Was Moses an angel that came down from heaven, or was he a human being like you? And were the prophets, who followed after him, angels that came down from heaven or were they human beings like you?

So if they say that they were human beings like you, then know that you are an apostle; therefore, carry out your duty and warn your people; for God guides whomsoever He likes, and their guidance in fact is not up to you.

94 b As do they claim.

94 c It means: Don't doubt about yourself, and don't feel yourself inferior to the mission, for God chooses to it anyone of His servants He likes, and He has chosen you to it.

http://quran-ayat.com/pret/10.htm#a10_94
quran-ayat(dot)com

====================================================================

So their denial and their disbelief let him waver about the truth of his mission, and it might be from Satan, not from the angel.
He though with himself: If I am a true messenger, why don't these people believe me?

Therefore, God explained to him that he was like the rest of His messengers: Abraham, Moses and Jesus: all of them were human beings, not angels.

Moreover, they do not believe: not because he was not truthful, but because God does not guide them on account of their wrong-doing and transgression on the weak and being unkind to the poor.

This is included in the following ayat:
Quran 10: 94-97, which mean:
{94. And if you [Mohammed] are in doubt of [the revelation] that We have sent down to you, then question those [Jews] who read the Scripture [that was] before you a.

The truth, indeed, has come to you from your Lord [not from genies
b];

so be not of those who waver c.

95. Nor do you cry lies to God's revelations d; for then you will lose [the prophet-hood e.]

96. They will not believe: those [associaters] against whom God's word [of punishment] is pronounced [: for in fact they deserve the punishment.]

97. [They will not believe] though every miracle comes to them [which they demanded from you, Mohammed,] till they see the painful chastisement f.}
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

95 d When you say: it may be from a genie, not from an angel.

95 e While God has chosen you to it.

97 f Either in the life of the World by killing and captivity, or in the afterlife in Hell.

http://quran-ayat.com/pret/10.htm#a10_94

====================================================================================

Afterwards, and as the Quran revelations continued in various situations and circumstances, then the belief of the Prophet and of the believers became firm and sure, and the Prophet started to call people with determination, and he did not pay attention to the mockery of the disbelievers and idolaters, until a large number of them believed.

"Then when the revealing of many soora and ayat came to him, he was assured and became certain that he was a prophet and a messenger (or apostle) to the Arab; therefore, he started to invite his people with determination and warn them with a firm will, paying no attention to their words and minding not about their mockery, until a large number of them believed, and His saying – be glorified – in the Quran 2: 286 was revealed, which means:

(The messenger [Mohammed] has now believed in [the revelation] that is revealed to him from his Lord; and the believers [have also believed];
each one [of them] believes in God, His angels ..etc.
)"
