Indian god statue at Calgary zoo offends Christian group

I thought God was supposed to be without shape or form, so presumably it would be meaningless to describe God as good looking or ugly looking.
Having said that, I like the picture of Lord Ganesh I posted here, it is very colorful and imaginative. It is beautiful. If one is going to worship a mythical God, he may as well be good looking, rather than ugly.
I thought man was made in God's image? God was mud too? Well then I guess that explains why so many people are fat, out of shape and have no form.
You'll never see a big, bright, glittery, fibreglass moulded to look like Yahweh commuter bus with seats on the roof and passengers cooking goat rolling into villages of Alberta.
That is too bad. People in Alberta have no idea what they are missing out on.
Beautiful bus. They really know how to decorate. I wonder, though, how the driver sees out the windshield. He must be driving that thing on faith.
If religion is culturally specific, you Albertans should worship oil as your God. We Ontarians would probably worship Ontario; after all, we do think that we are the centre of attention in Canada.
My encounters with Ontarians has been that they think they are the centre of the universe.:lol:
that depends alot of people from out west like to say:
"Ive met an Ontarian they think there the center of the universe"

The person who said that was not from Northern Ontario, but i garuntee from the GTA area. Because no northern ontarians think this way on average or as much as someone from the south.
They never met an ontarian, and are going off what they hear other people say
either way, If ontarians think as a whole were so important, then why the hell are we moving out west lol
