Iggy or Bob?

Who is it going to be?

And which way is the party going to slide. To the left, down the middle, which way to go ?

I figure Iggy to take the center (slightly fiscal right) and try and push Harpo further into the
right-wing wasteland.
A potentially winning tactic in my opinion.

Bob almost certainly will sound as if he has a sound grip on fiscal responsibilities, but when elected will quickly swerve into left field taxing and spending as fast as he can.
Can the people of Ontario and the ex-dippers forgive Bob?

Who would be the quickest to pull the plug on Harper, Iggy or Bob?
I figure Bob.

Surely to God there is another choice.

One guy has spent most of his adult life in the U.S. and the other has a reputation, at least in Ontario, of tanking the economy of that province. They should maybe advertise for successful business people.....No lawyers.....

Yeah ... gotta love how Ontario managed to set off a worldwide recession. That's one of the long tall tales that will get in his way.

Come on Wolf, nobody said that...And Bob Rae certainly doesn't have a rep for being an economic genius.

Bob is the man with the moral fabric though that is not always an asset in the politico game.

BTW, he didn't tank Ontario's economy back in the dipper days. He dealt with the lies and mess left behind.
He subsequently left the dippers to free market it up in a law practice. Only after he made some right wing style coin did he throw his hat in the ring again. Not for the dippers as we know.

Iggy is a slimy one and should be avoided IMO.

The one which offers the most for the least will prevail. The recipients of that offer don't reside in Canada. Look for change to be the bases of the leadership struggle. It's popular now. I sense our drivil meters will be overloaded for no gain whatever. Iggy's an American, he'll be our first duel citizen primemotivator won't he?

I don't think the electorate would let Martin back in and that is too bad. Martin knew the job of finance minister backwards and forwards, which is something we seem to need about now. I don't think Martin could get elected and I hope to hell sheila Copps can't either. Between me an you and the gate post, I don't think either Iggy or Rae could win an election. There must be somebody else out there.

Brian Tobin
Former Premier of Newfoundland and Federal Cabinet Minister

Brian Tobin Speaker Profile at The Lavin Agency

Tobin would have won a land slide had he ran on this last 2008 Federal Election.........
Should he surface up unexpectedly and let’s keep in mind that such a scenario happening may be remote but should it happen, Harper will be running for cover.......

As for Iggy or Bob, Iggy may bring a new smile to Canadian politics even though it has been said that he has spend many years in the US. Bob because of the Ontarian baggage he may be another DION, Bob is a good politician, but the baggage is a problem...

I said it earlier Tobin should not opted out the first time, now he need to re-think his options.

I quote, yet again, Clyde Wells, the brightest politician to come out of Newfoundland in a long, long time.....if not ever:

"If you waded through Brian Tobin's deepest thoughts, you wouldn't get your ankles wet"

Bang on.

Tobin ain't got the smarts.

Ignatief and Rae both have big baggage, but they also have some brains......not so Mr. Tobin.

Ignatief did some dirty campaigning in the last election....
