The one thing that killed me voting for her is her apology (tearful no less) for supposedly offending someone for daring to suggest they screen for "Canadian Values". If you truly believe in something you will stand up and defend it. She showed a lack of leadership and a weakness that I don't find honorable at all. Initially I was impressed; not so much now.
I want a leader who has the balls to do the right thing and not succumb to peer pressure and political correctness; someone who has the nation's best interest at heart. Because there are so many running for the leadership, I find it difficult to get a handle on each and every one of them to find out really, what is it they believe in and not what we "want to hear". I want someone who has the balls to call out Trudeau on whatever stupid decision he comes up with and clearly articulate why the decision is not good for the country. Unfortunately, I don't see where anyone has taken the lead in any of the issues I find important to both me and my family or, for that matter, the country. I'm seriously concerned about where the country is going, the consistent increase in taxes, the financial burden we're leaving our children including the unfunded liabilities we have that have hit the trillion dollar mark. So far, it doesn't seem to matter which Party is in Power, this all slides over their heads. Nothing serious here.
Maybe I will vote for O'Leary .... Not ????????
