Mitt Romney spent the last decade of his life pursuing his dream of eight years in the White House. Alas, he came up short. Had Romney won he would have been gloating that he was a given a mandate with lots of politic capital that he intended to spend. By now his disciples would have been hatching plans for an invasion of Iran, increasing welfare for the rich, and exporting millions of more jobs.
Obama has treated Romney with class and dignity. Now it's time for Republicans to do the same with him.
