So in other words, you want to be an MP to feed your ego and nothing more. Seriously, are you just full of sarcasm today or are you serious. For your sake and ours, I hope you're just pulling our legs tonight.
To tell you the truth, I am a dead man. I never really had a passion for anything. Its not like I could say that it has been a lifelong dream for me to be an MP. MP's have power, and I like the idea of that. I like the title, and the idea that I have that position where I worked my way up.
If you want me to explain it, I grew up poor. We used to live in a one bedroom house with five people in two mattresses. I could be a janitor, but it won't be quite as fulfilling.
Not to be facetious or sarcastic I am going to advise you that none of the parties today have clear cut platforms or philosophies, Conservatives and Liberals are almost identical twins and the N.D.P. is like a fraternal triplet - if you follow me. They develop policies as necessary to hold on to power (and their generous pensions). If you are only 20 I would advise you to try a political science course, so at least you have something that seems intelligent to the average idiot to talk about. The real learning however is not gleaned from books. What is your occupation? It helps if you can show you've succeeded at running a business- if you haven't then all your talk is just ideology.
That is exactly why I am a moderate. In Canada, there really is not a party that stands out in its virtue. I am a Sales Associate at a retail store, but have a technical diploma in Industrial Instrumentation Engineering Technology. I am also an affiliate marketer who relies on false advertising to sell other peoples products for commissions. I have lived in three different countries ranging from poverty stricken to ultra rich, so I can share a lot from my experience.
I would go with the Conservatives to increase my odds.
