Ahhhhhhhh Rogered.
Then why would you want to bridge a router to it?
That modem already has wi-fi
And that is near impossible because
And that is near impossible because I Tried with a sagecom modem because my previous router had more range
after a while I gave up
and simply put the Modem/ router in a more central location.
While you are hadwired to it, to activate the Wi-Fi you must use the temporary password
OH heck this is better than any instructions I could give you...

I can do a Sagecom almost blindfolded now because this is what the telephone company uses around here ....but yours is a new one on me....so you'll have to follow the instructions
If you have a modem with a built in router, call Rogers (yes, yes I know, but bear with me here) tech support

but thanks anyway man...as I said, this ain't required for my purposes and I was only curious as someone gave me this laptop and router and I figured they both needed to be used...the laptop already sees the wifi it just needs to connect to my account which of course, requires a PIN or racken fracken password by whoever set the prick up...it's not that important to me.

Das says my rogers modem model is already a 'router'...but not having the modem PIN number and not willing to change my current settings because I don't have to actually do any of this, I'm withdrawing my request and the wife can bite me...she can use the laptop all she wants but internet is thru my clunker pc...brave words I know but she'll never see them.
Wait till he tries connecting a security camera or two......Can I make a suggestion??

IP http://192.34.45.8 << should allow you to log in.
Update your Router's name or ID and password and you should be able to connect via your laptop, or whatever.
