Here is the documentary I have. Very excellent and unflattering to both sides. It is 5 hours long. Naturally extremists on both sides probably think it is biased against them, or think it proves their case of the evils of the other side. Depends on your mindset.

Watching the leadup to the 67 war with USA and Russia behind the scenes pulling string is quite interesting. It features interviews with many players diplomats, leaders, army generals.

What I find interesting is that if I mention Iran or Gaza or Lebanon for some reason there seems to be a little more variance in response.

Let's see... between a terrorist state and a terrorist organization... the choice is hard but when it comes to Lebanon allow me to object.

Logic7 I have a few friends who are Muslims originally from Beiruit Lebanon. They have considerable hatred for Hammas and Hezbollah. These organizations are terrorist and financially supported by Iran, Syria and get ready for this part thousands of Muslims from Montreal and Toronto.

They asked me what in hell is going on with 40,000 Canadians in Lebanon trying to get out? 40,000 Canadians in Lebanon? What are they doing there? A ton of them are financing Hezbollah.

One of them said that Stephen Harper should let them stay there because many of them are definitely terrorists doing fundraising in Canada and bringing the money back there to support Hezbollah.

It doesn't surprise me one bit to hear that.

Canadians funding Hezbollah? Bwaaaaaahhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaa! What is it you are smoking? I want some! Hezbollah does not need Canadian funds. They receive enough from Iran and Syria. What are 40,000 Canadians doing in Lebanon? Some have relatives there and others are working there. Do you have a problem with this? I have relatives in Great Britain. How about none of the above. I support the UN and international law. In which both sides are in violation of.

However I think Isreal has a right to defeand it's sovereignty, but they should also be willing to listen to UN resolutions as well.

What UN resolutions? Israel does not answer to the UN nor should Canada for that matter. UN is nothing more than a mouthpiece for the lesser nothing nations.

UN is spineless, and nothing else. It is the biggest politcal organization in the world but still is unable to physically put an end to conflicts around the world especially conflicts backed by the US-UK-Israel trio.

What I find interesting is that if I mention Iran or Gaza or Lebanon for some reason there seems to be a little more variance in response. It is as if those names have some sympathy votes, although for what reason - I have no idea. My guess is people don't realize that those nations support and are significantly influenced [read controlled] by the terrorist groups Hamas and Hezbollah.

In my opinion if Israel has the means, they should completely occupy Gaza and Lebanon to the point of also being their government. I am sure after a long period of sustained and TOTAL occupation the Palestinians and Lebanese will realize that life really is better under a more Western / Israeli form of law and life.

What sort of poll is this?? Both are terrorists. No one's better then the other. And also I must add, you are pretty ignorant, sir! Lebanon is a fairly liberal state and its people are very open-minded. I suggest you get off CNN and other junky media outlets.

Withdrawing to Canada would hardly make us North Korea...I could make us Switzerland, we could become truly neutral and take that whole honest broker role we think we already have. While we are at it we should intitute a military service requirement...mabey then we would properly equip our forces.

Anyway, these anti-Israel, anti-USA, anti-Western folks all live here in a free and open society. There familiarity with that society allows them to see and experience all the faults inherent in it. Like the Princess and the pea, they recognizer little of the good, and exagerate in their own minds the faults until they begin to loathe that which is best in the world.

Familiarity breeds contempt.

I submit that never have so many enjoyed so much freedom and so much wealth asthose of us lucky enough to live in western society.

Radical Islam knows nothing of free will, and hates us for not only our freedom, but our succeess.
