Within 10 years .....

British Columbia will replace Ontario as the economic center of Canada because a majority of our GDP will rely upon shipments to China.

With the collapse of the U.S. Empire ..... Military troops will be patrolling every single city in North America. Every WalMart parking lot will be a military staging ground or base. Every bakery will be guarded by local law enforcement. All the anti-terror legislation is being enacted with this scenario in mind.

The anger within the population will be huge and they will want to strike out against those who even smell of wealth. (Much like what happened in Germany at the beginning of the Great Depression in 1929-1932. The whole of humanity will want revenge against those folks who have all the PHD's after their names ..... Because the best educated came from the most wealthy families and have been proven to be the best liars!)

Here in Canada, the voters will elect a complete slate of Socialist Members of Parliament, but the Canadian Senate will refuse to pass any laws enacted by the elected members as the Constitution allows. The Supreme Court will back the Unelected Senate and surround the Parliament with troops.

Newfoundland will finally have its Heyday! Shipments of fresh water around the globe will be the savior.

I know that some of readers of this thread will say that it's very difficult to predict what the state of the country will be like but I though I'd make this thread and I would like to hear peoples opinion of how you think Canada will look like in 10 years. This thread is delicate for you to explain what you think this Country will look like, not necessary what you want this Country to be like or what we should do in 2027.

I figure about the same, the rich will be a little richer, the poor will be a little poorer and the Assholes will be a little more assholish!

Aging Gracefully

1. I changed my car horn to gunshot sounds. People move out of the way much faster now!

2. I didn't make it to the gym today. That makes five years in a row.

3. I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

4. Last year I joined a support group for procrastinators. We haven't met yet...

5. I don't need anger management. I need people to stop irritating me!

6. When I was a child I thought Nap Time was a punishment... Now, as a grown up, it just feels like a small vacation....

7. My people skills are just fine. It's my tolerance of idiots that needs working on.

8. If God wanted me to touch my toes, he would've put them on my knees.

9. The kids text me "plz" which is shorter than please. I text back "no" which is shorter than "yes."

10. I'm going to retire and live off of my savings. Not sure what I'll do the second week.

11. Even duct tape can't fix stupid... but it can muffle the sound!

12. Why do I have to press one for English when you're just gonna transfer me to someone I can't understand anyway?

13. Of course I talk to myself, sometimes I need expert advice

One important thing that is fact is I will be collecting my pensions.
In the later stages of life most people stay in because of a worn out body rather than there is no opportunity to get out and do things due to financial constraints. At some point naps are seen as an important daily activity.

Yeah, gerryh, the torrent of racial bigotry was all just funnin'.

HUH? Racial bigotry. I'm in the trucking industry in Canada, the owner of the company where I lease my truck to is East Indian.. a majority of truckers in Canada, are.. wait for it... East Indian..

Canada's East Indian population is a strong voting block in Canada 2.8% and growing fast.. particularly in Surrey, BC and Brampton, Ontario.

So the future of Canada will be directed by the biggest immigration block in Canada in the last 10 years..

Sorta like the USA with it's huge Hispanic voting block.

Nothing racial about facts..

Trump just proved the Hispanic vote is irrelevant (and the black vote too)

That is the start of a much longer list. The wall will be to stop Americans from fleeing south. Think of it as Hillary won but is using Trump's body.

The more immigrants that we bring in from third world countries, the more Canada will start to look like a third world country.

Canada already has the lowest productivity rate of most G7 countries, largely because we bring in the most immigrants from low productivity third world countries.

so that would mean that the G7 countries whose productivity is lower than ours must bring in even more immigrants from low productivity 3rd world countries than we do.

and they don't.

You got to be ready and able to give a hand when needed but you have to keep a population base strong enough to maintain the inherent integrity of the population.

You are wrong as usual.
The only country with a lower productivity than Canada is Japan, and it's a special case so the comparison does not apply.
