As for me- on most days I do one - two hours of moderately strenuous activity! :)
As a retired government employee you must find that exhausting compared to your working days.........

The hole he is in is being dug at a faster rate. Can you imagine how many would be moving to Russia just from DC alone?? lol

Russia is ready to grant asylum to former FBI Director James Comey if he is persecuted in the United States, President Vladimir Putin said.

"He said he had recorded his conversation with President [Donald Trump] and handed over this recording to mass media with the help of a friend. This sounds strange. When a special service head records a conversation with the commander-in-chief and then gives it to the media through his friend. What is then the difference between the FBI director and [Edward] Snowden? Then he is not the head of a special service, he is a human rights activist defending a certain stance. If he [Comey] is persecuted, we are ready to grant him political asylum in Russia, he should know about it," Putin said.
On June 8, Comey appeared for testimony on the Trump-Russia probe at the US Senate Intelligence Committee. He explained why he recorded his private talks with the US president, saying that he was afraid Trump might "lie" about them. However, he said that Trump did not directly order him stop investigation into former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn.

Even Trump’s Aides Blame President for Obstruction Probe

The Daily Beast - AM Edition

indeed. every bit of this meis totally Trump created. He cannot blame the media, false newsk, or any other of his favorite excuses for HIS conduct. Too bad he has such a problem owning up to HIS own behavior.

He should have known that his main responsibility was for the WHOLE country........ and its people. NOT just to his base..........who are slowly waking up to the fact that they have been cnned by a master circus conman. Running a government is not a game or series of deal making . It takes a lot more skill and finesse , including a vast knowledge base of international nuance , diplomacy and policy making. It is not just issuing exec orders that are akin to dictating ones policy statements. One cannot operate by the "my way or the highway principle. In fact that mindset belongs NO where in society...........except the bully playground. Most important the LAW applies to every One.......... and the leader has the responsibility to set an example of being a law abiding person. In the world of Trump rules don't apply or can be made up as he goes along. Pathological EXCEPTIONALISM at work. NOT a quality for a good leader.

That and the other Trump issues will still be in the headlines at the end of his 4th year. (granted the global powers will be the ones doing the scrambling once the UN is based in Jerusalem)

I don't think he'll make it that long.

Robert Mueller investigating Donald Trump for possible obstruction of justice

The move to investigate Trump’s own conduct marks a major turning point in the nearly year-old FBI investigation, which until recently focused on Russian meddling during the presidential campaign.

Huh, who'd have thunk it...
trump might try to "fire " Meuller. ( which would only CONFIRM the obstruction of justice charges. ) They can add ABUSE OF POWER charges to the mix. Trump has painted himself into a corner with his own conduct .........so we might be seeing some real ugliness from him. ( More than usual ??? ;) His lawyer is a real piece of work too.

Nor do I. If the momentum of these investigations accelerate....... we might be in for a change in leadership in the US. Ya know......someone a tad more "normal" Hope springs eternal ;-)

The UN based in Jerusalem??

He'd have to be. Who else would be willing to work for trump as his lawyer. What a horrid job that would be...
After watching that lawyer on tV.......it is evident that they ( he and Trump ) are very like minded The lawyer is only slightly more articulate and is even more manipulative with words.

Me. And about a quarter of a million others.

Yeah, really? You have immense fortitude and an amazing talent if you could...manage...to work with him successfully...

Maybe I should have used the word successfully in my original post.

It'd be a hard slog though, don't you think? I'm sure the amount he'd pay would be worth it if you could manage his ego. but would it be worth it?

Sure. That's why they call it "work." It's not supposed to be fun. If it was fun they wouldn't pay you to do it, they'd charge you to do it.

Nah, I got enough money, and my babysitting certificate lapsed.

My comment was more a demonstration of the lawyer's ethical duty to advocate for his client, however loathsome the client may be.

The UN based in Jerusalem??
That is the World Bankers move rather than Trump ordering every country to one in the 'international' city of Jerusalem.

Setting the Stage for Fulfilling Bible Prophecy

Why is this important? It would be easy to disregard the unsc resolution as nothing more than talk. Israel today, especially under the leadership of Mr. Netanyahu, would refuse to concede the Old City and East Jerusalem to the Palestinians. Mr. Netanyahu himself has said as much. If the UN wanted to enforce this resolution, they would have to march member-nations’ armies into Jerusalem to force Israel out of East Jerusalem.
Most people would agree that it would be highly unlikely and irregular for the UN to be able to organize itself that way.
It is possible, however, that the Palestinians themselves could react to this resolution in an armed uprising and try to simply take what the UN has now said already belongs to them. At which point, Israel would need to suppress the violence. That action would put Israel at loggerheads with the international community.
This is important because the Trumpet has long forecast this exact scenario we see developing. Pointing to a prophecy in the biblical book of Zechariah, Trumpet editor in chief Gerald Flurry has said for many years that half of Jerusalem will indeed fall into Palestinian hands. In March 2006, he elaborated on how it would come about:
It seems the Palestinians could get East Jerusalem, minus the Temple Mount, without a fight. Zechariah’s prophecy implies that there will be an impasse over the Temple Mount—which the Palestinians “resolve” by taking East Jerusalem by force. That is why I believe the conservatives could regain control in Israel. They have a stronger will to fight for the land they believe belongs to the Jews.
At the time he made this statement, a passive left-wing government was in power. But for this prophecy to unfold, conservatives would have to return to power.
This has since happened.
Mr. Netanyahu will not accept Palestinian control of the Temple Mount or East Jerusalem. Yet buoyed by this resolution and likely further action by the international community in the coming months, the Palestinians could be motivated to make a run for it themselves.
Clearly the unsc resolution doesn’t further the chances for peace between the Israelis and the Palestinians. Instead it undermines Israel’s negotiating position, and actually encourages the Palestinians to fight for the land, which brings into play Zechariah’s pivotal prophecy of half of Jerusalem falling.
In 2017, all eyes are going to be on Jerusalem. Zechariah’s prophecy of half of Jerusalem falling is not some obscure or relatively unimportant end-time event. Rather, it is a verifiable and highly visible event that sets off a chain reaction of further prophecies leading to the coming of the Messiah. To understand in detail the events to follow the fall of East Jerusalem, please request Jerusalem in Prophecy by Gerald Flurry.

well that's got to be where my brain is messed up. I enjoy 'work'. I enjoy my office job. But I'm ocd and office work is the exact right fit for my type of OCD.

Nah, I got enough money, and my babysitting certificate lapsed.

I understand a laywers duty, I understand the necessity of it. Where the 'fortitude' comes from for a lawyer to go as good a job he can with some individiduals I don't know. But I guess that's why not all lawyers are criminal lawyers.
