I think a lot of people are surprised, OB - I know I am. The fact is no one knew how he would govern - he is or was, a political neophyte. All the other candidates had records of political interactions attesting to their behavior in the positions they held - Trump was an unknown. Taking what any politician says while on the campaign trail as an indication of what they might do in office is simply foolish as many a disappointed voter will attest. I would also venture to say that many old guard Republicans are utterly gobsmacked by what they see taking place in the highest office in the land.

Indeed. But they ARE responsible for voting him into office without considering his total lack of experience in governing , and the fact he already had a reputation for being a cheat and liar. ie with little or no integrity. They had a good picture of his behavior before the election with a lot of his warts in plain view........ and voted for him anyhow.

I guess we will see if this is a no n issue. One thing is certain......the PROBE is on........and like an archaeological dig we might find some findings surprising but others not so much given the chap in the center of this storm.


Now we have INTENT. Conversation with the Russians reveals that Trump's firing of Comey was easing the pressure he was under from the Russian probe.



It might be a nonissue to some but it is a mountain to those with high integrity who want the same in their leadership.If one follows the time line....... The Russians knew about the firing before the US population did. Is this how you want the US run?? Who is Trump more faithful to?? Russia or the US??

If folks want to ignore or spin the information as it unfolds to fit their preconceived nations that is their choice.


Now that Trump has embarked on his first international trip........lets see if he can avoid any self inflicted injuries that will just compound the storm.
