Some tough it out and bite the proverbial bullet. Some beg. Some steal. Some will enter a manipulative relationshio. Some turn to prostitution. Some might find other ways.

But is our system ready to help integrate these women quickly enough before these women feel the pressure to turn to extreme measures?

The question has a simple answer, this is to destroy capitalism and end the oppressive system once and for all.

I am not arguing that it is a tenet in communism. My point is that there is absolutely no efficacy in it. Therefore, it is a waste of time and effort even considering it for any society on a scale larger than a hippy commune.

So you are ASSuming that everyone in a society is equal and that there are no leaders and no followers. I have bad news for you, leaders are leaders for a reason. They are ambitious. Followers are followers for a few possible reasons; they are lazy, they are not ambitious enough, they do not have the wits, etc. Someone ALWAYS wants to be ahead of the others. And even THAT is assuming that everyone is an honest and upright citizen. As soon as one or more start leading the others, they have more power. Power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely. THAT is why communism fails in any society bigger than a handful of people.
If you cannot understand that and insist on the most basic and blatant of human natures being nonsense, there is no hope for you.

did you really just start off your paragraph telling me i'm making assumptions, then followed that first sentence up with a whole lot of assumptions? :lol:
the only thing you said accurately was that power corrupts, which is obviously true. it can be corrupting to sociopaths who thirst for power. which is exactly who our leaders are, unfit, over-privileged, excessively wealthy, sociopaths.
how that fact relates to communism's "failure" i have no idea. countries that attempted communism always were overrun militarily before it could pose a danger to the bourgeoisie.
