We had freezing rain all day here in Kapuskasing...
Met an old co-worker at the grocery store earlier this afternoon who believes in global warming......
He said to me....."half jokingly"' see the rain to-day it's a sure sign of global warming..... We get into those discussions sometimes at the weekly coffee meet.
So I asked him...."Remember in 1974 about this time of the year between Christmas and New Year, when I used to take my snow machine to get to work, and on my way to work I had cut a bunch of pussy willow branches that had started to sprout and put them in a water bucket in the mill?
He nodded and said, yup. that was a mild one!
