Maybe we've just identified a major problem in the justice system. When the powers that be decide if you sell lethal drugs to an addict and that addict dies as a result of taking them, the vender has consequently committed murder and is charged with it, it might be a small step in the right direction to wipe this sh*t out. It doesn't take a huge I.Q. to recognize that when you sell a person fentenol among other sh*t, that the person could die as a result. Time to start calling a spade a spade and start dealing with it. These c*cks**kers don't belong on the planet!
They have been at the same game for a long time and it will get worse before it gets better. Try looking at all the things that kill us that is there to enrich a certain segment of society.

(Natural News) A Rhode Island-based physician has recently admitted to participating in a fraudulent scheme and accepting hundreds of thousands of dollars in kickbacks to illegally prescribe fentanyl, a highly-addictive opioid. A Reuters report has revealed that Dr. Jerrold Rosenberg, 36, has pleaded guilty before the U.S. District Court in Providence on grounds of health care fraud and illegally prescribing the addictive fentanyl-based cancer pain drug Subsys. The drug, an under-the-tongue spray, is manufactured by Chandler, Arizona-based Insys Therapeutics Inc.
According to the prosecutors, Rosenberg participated in the fraudulent scheme from 2012 to 2015 and had received a whopping $188,000 in kickbacks. The prosecutors have reported that the kickbacks have been in the form of speaker fees from Insys. The prosecutors also noted that the speaker fees became the doctor’s basis in prescribing the opioid spray. Likewise, the reports have indicated that the physician fraudulently claimed that the patients suffered from cancer pain when the prescriptions are not given, thus securing insurance approvals for Subsys. (Related: Doctors are prescribing DEADLY fentanyl for cash and lavish dinners, reveals report.)
The doctor has agreed to settle $754,736 in restitution to healthcare benefit programs as part of the plea agreement. Aside from this, the physician is facing a maximum prison sentence of 15 years and is slated to be sentenced on Jan. 16. The doctor’s lawyer has declined a request for comment.
The probe against the drug maker comes during a national opioid abuse epidemic. Federal prosecutors in Boston have charged six former Insys executives and managers — which included ex-Chief Executive Michael Babich — in December on grounds of performing a scheme that bribed physicians into prescribing Subsys and defrauding insurers. All the six former officials have pleaded not guilty before the court. Likewise, several other states have filed lawsuits against other former company officials and medical practitioners that have prescribed the fentanyl-based spray.
In addition, the pharmaceutical company faces charges filed by attorneys general in Arizona and New Jersey. The company has been reported to have settled up to $9.45 million to resolve probes by attorneys general in certain states including Oregon, New Hampshire, Illinois, and Massachusetts. The drug firm has been allegedly coordinating with the U.S. Justice Department in order to resolve issues associated with the misdeeds of former employees.
“We have taken necessary and appropriate steps to prevent past mistakes from happening in the future and are committed to conducting business according to high ethical standards and the interests of patients. We also continue to work with relevant authorities to resolve issues related to the misdeeds of former employees,” an Insys spokesperson has told Daily Mail online.
Opioid abuse becoming more prevalent across the U.S.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has noted that opioid abuse has resulted in more than 33,000 deaths in 2015 alone. The federal agency has also cautioned that the rates have been continuously increasing. According to the American Society for Addiction Medicine (ASAM), the drugs are chemically related and work with the opioid receptors on nerve cells in the brain and nervous system in order to alleviate pain and generate pleasurable effects.
Data published by the ASAM have also shown that opioid abuse has already reached the youth. The data revealed that as many as 276,000 adolescents aged 12 to 17 years old are current non-medical users of pain relief drugs in 2015. Nearly half of these teens have reported being addicted to painkillers, the ASAM data has shown. The report has also indicated that the number of opioid prescriptions among teens have nearly doubled between 1994 to 2007.

MRSA is NOT just in hospitals, new research discovers: The antibiotic-resistant superbug is spreading in the wild – InvestmentWatch
(Natural News) Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) infection is not only contained within hospital settings and may actually spread elsewhere, according to a study published in the journal Science Translational Medicine. Health experts have insisted that patients carrying MRSA can be screened upon hospital admission, by which time the doctors will take note of the time and place of occurrence to see if an outbreak is well underway.
However, the researchers have noted that traditional detection methods may miss transmission between people in hospitals and the community. The experts have stressed that outbreaks in the family or within community groups may prove challenging to detect. Likewise, the scientists have stated that traditional detection methods might not be sufficiently sensitive when a patient’s movement speed — either around the hospital or in between facilities — is taken into account. Teams of researchers at the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute and the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine have discovered a new way of detecting MRSA infections through genome sequencing.
“Using whole-genome sequencing, we have been able to see the full picture of MRSA transmission within hospitals and the community for the first time. We found that sequencing MRSA from all affected patients detected many more outbreaks than standard infection control approaches. This method could also exclude suspected outbreaks, allowing health authorities to rationalize resources,” author Julian Parkhill has reported in a Genetic Engineering & Biotechnology News article.
As part of the study, the research team has examined data on more than 2,000 MRSA-positive patients across East England for more than a year. The experts have also sequenced the DNA of at least one MRSA strain from 1,465 participants. The scientists have been able to detect up to 173 different outbreaks or transmission clusters with 598 patients. (Related: Superbug apocalypse rapidly approaching as nearly one-quarter of infections now UNTREATABLE with first line antibiotics.)
Likewise, the findings have demonstrated that 118 transmission clusters have involved hospital contacts alone, while 27 clusters have entailed community contacts alone and 28 clusters combined both types of contact. The researchers have also detected MRSA outbreaks in places outside the hospital including the community, surgery facilities, homes, and places in between.
“Our study has shown that sequencing all MRSA samples as soon as they are isolated can rapidly pinpoint where MRSA transmission is occurring. If implemented in clinical practice, this would provide numerous opportunities to catch outbreaks early and target these to bring them to a close, for example by decolonizing carriers and implementing barrier nursing. We have the technology in place to do this, and it could have a really positive impact on public health and patient outcomes,” study leader Sharon Peacock adds.
“Antibiotic resistance poses a global challenge to healthcare. To tackle it we need to prevent infections, preserve existing antibiotics and promote the development of new therapies and interventions. This study sheds light on MRSA transmission within and between hospitals and the community, which could help strengthen infection prevention and control measures,” Dr. Jonathan Pearce, head of infections and immunity at the Medical Research Council, has stated in Daily Mail online.
The research team has expressed plans to carry out a follow-up study next year.
Prevent MRSA transmission, infection with these steps

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), MRSA transmission and eventual infection occurs upon contact with an infected wound. Likewise, the CDC stresses that sharing personal items — such as razors and towels — with an infected person may give way to MRSA transmission. The federal agency has also stated that symptoms of MRSA skin infection include:

  • redness;
  • inflammation;
  • pain;
  • warm skin;
  • presence of pus and other drainage; and
  • fever.
However, the CDC has also listed a few helpful steps to prevent the onset of MRSA infection. These pointers include:

  • Practicing routine hand washing and showering;
  • Regularly cleaning and covering wounds until they heal completely;
  • Not sharing personal items; and
  • Seeking immediate medical attention if infection is suspected.

https://www.naturalnews.com/039199_central_nervous_system_damage_MSG.html
(NaturalNews) Excitotoxins, as they are appropriately named, are supposed to enhance flavor and excite your taste buds, but this "class" of chemicals overstimulate neuron receptors, which are what allow brain cells to communicate with each other. This causes a firing of impulses at such a rapid rate that they become completely exhausted, and several hours later, these depleted neurons die. This is true cell death, and the parts of the brain that are specifically targeted by excitotoxins are the hypothalamus and temporal lobes, which not only control behavior, emotions, and sleep cycles, but you guessed it, immunity. (http://experiencelife.com/article/excitotoxins/)

Aspartame and MSG stimulate the taste cells in the tongue, causing food flavor to be enhanced, especially in soups, snacks, sauces, gravies, low-fat processed foods, and now aspartame is found in 95 percent of breath mints and chewing gum, even when they're not "sugar free." If you regularly experience any or all of the following, it's about time to question the amount of "excitotoxins" that are swimming through your heart and brain. Do you suffer from migraine headaches, inflammation, unwarranted weight gain, rashes and "crawling skin?" It may all be spurred by genetically modified flavor enhancers.

Let's cover all of the bases. Monosodium glutamate (MSG) has at least 20 different names. There are many other products/additives that are simply "sisters" or "cousins" of MSG, but beware, because MSG is a macro-combination of these other "food" additives and chemically engineered flavor enhancers. Plus, the MSG "cousin" additives do not have to be labeled as MSG because they are not manufactured in tandem, so when enough of them add up in your daily intake, you may as well have eaten MSG on an empty stomach.
(MONOSODIUM GLUTAMATE TOXICITY and the CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM)

How do you avoid MSG, aspartame and their criminal cousins?

Stop buying and stop consuming the following: Glutamic acid, glutamate, monopotassium glutamate, calcium glutamate, autolyzed yeast, calcium caseinate, gelatin, anything "hydrolyzed," sodium caseinate, soy protein, soy protein concentrate, soy protein isolate, textured protein, whey protein, whey protein concentrate, whey protein isolate, yeast extract, yeast food, and yeast nutrient. (http://copingwithmsg.blogspot.com)

Warning: don't be fooled by "Pro-MSG" websites that state MSG is an amino acid that the "body produces on its own," because the MSG on store shelves is processed, GMO and comes from fermented sugar beets. That's why Monsanto has a monopoly on sugar beets. Watch out for glutamic acid and its ions and salts called glutamates, which are compounds found in many fermented foods, including soy sauce, cheese and hydrolyzed protein.
(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glutamic_acid_(flavor))

MSG is the leading cause of migraine headaches, which result from a blood vessel enlargement and the release of chemicals from nerve fibers that coil around these vessels. During the headache, an artery enlarges outside the skull, but just under the skin (the temple). This is when the warning signs that you've consumed MSG ring out, and many people experience flashes of light, blind spots, tingling in the arms and legs, nausea, vomiting, and increased sensitivity to light and sound. The pain becomes so excruciating, it's almost unbearable. Some migraines are known to last for days. Could that be because the medicine you take contains more?

Back in the day (close to 40 years ago) a guy in the Port Coquitlam area caught a pusher trying to sell dope to his daughter at a most opportune place and time, near a RR trestle as the train was approaching. Anyway he grabbed the pusher and dropped him off the trestle right in front of the train and the rest is history. Apparently the judge had sympathy for the guy and dropped the charges as he figured the deceased got what he had coming. Of course when case got to Victoria for review, the guy was recharged (I don't understand that part) but anyway got a year for it, which he was apparently quite happy to serve. I heard about this when I was working in the area about 1983, so not sure how old it was at that time. I might try Googling it.

Try googling "biggest bunch of bullshit ever"

The violent fantasies of fantasists.

I heard one in '85, about a man who had raped and murdered a mother and daughter in Maryland. He was caught in New York and extradited back to Maryland. As the cops were taking him off the plane, the husband/father of the victims walked up, pulled a shotgun from under his coat, said to the cops "Step away, please," blasted the criminal, handed the shotgun to the cops and said "Take me in. I did what I had to do." He pled guilty and the judge sentenced him to five years probation and no jail time.

Pure, 100%, unadulterated bullshit. Nothing of the kind ever happened. The kind of thing helpless wankers spread around to feel like men. Robin Hood stories.

Are you kidding me? There is NO effort going into Cdn legal system! Its why seven accused killers were released this summer by LIE-beral hug a thug judges because LIE-berals did not have the resources to give them a trial in good time! LIE-berals NEED ALL the gravy to buy civil service Hog votes so they can cling to power at ANY price!

Consider this:
I put this post up a while back but its worth repeating because it PROVES that Lie-beral philosophy and policy have completely lost touch with reason, reality and logic- which is why LIE-berals CLAIM crime numbers are down!

So, lets talk about Crime and Bullshit! Figures don’t lie but liars figure. Crime statistics are down in this country because crime is evolving and it simply LOOKS like crime is reduced. During his last term in office prime minister Pierre Trudeau and his LIE-beral hug a thug friends CHANGED how crime statistics were compiled-at the time Conservatives complained that the change would make it harder to compare crime statistics from different decades-an obvious point now proven.

LIe-berals will deny this in every way. They will INSIST that “no fundamental changes have been made to the system” and of course we recognize the weasel words “:no fundamental changes”.....meaning THEY don’t think its important but anybody who has been robbed or victimized in some way and then watched as LIE-beral appointed `hug a thug` judges give out minor slaps on the criminal wrist DOES think it’s a BIG DEAL!

If you argue these points, LIE-berals will send you links to out of date and irrelevant Stats/Canada publications to `prove` their point using papers and publications that don’t address the issues. They will also try to distract by discussing the Young Offenders Act rather than looking at the issues involving adult career criminals which is what I am trying to illustrate here. LIE-berals have already made it virtually impossible to learn anything useful about Youth crime and now they are doing the same “hide it all for the good of the party” job with adult crime numbers. In short, they will prove once again why we call them LIE-berals!

Under the old system there was one crime if you `possessed` burglar tools and planned to break into a home while the family was away some place, A second crime if you actually broke into the house, A third crime (theft over $5000.00) occurred when you found the keys to a vehicle in the garage and decided to load it up with the stuff you stole from the house and use it as a getaway vehicle. A fourth crime occurred when you found a gun cabinet and broke it open and took possession of and loaded a shotgun for which you have no license. The family comes home unexpectedly and you take them hostage using your stolen shotgun and that’s the fifth and six crimes-kidnaping and misuse of a firearm. A neighbour sees you waving the gun and phones the cops who arrive on the scene and you fire the shotgun out a window a couple of times to keep them back while you consider your options and thus produce crime seven ( assault with a deadly weapon) and crime eight which is resisting arrest. Prior to Trudeau each of these crimes would be listed separately and would be relatively easy to track in appropriate categories-firearm offenses, burglary, theft etc. But now these eight crimes are lumped together as ONE CRIME SCENE and its now MUCH HARDER to track individual crimes since they are no longer listed in such an easy to access and read fashion.

Further, as of 20 years ago about 80% of criminals had their cases `plea bargained` and now we can only guess (since Lie-berals don’t like to talk about this stuff and hide the details where possible and they certainly don’t want to admit that they are practicing `catch and release` with dangerous criminals) that today virtually ALL criminals cut endless deals during which major crimes become minor crimes and minor crimes become small misdemeanors or are easily forgotten entirely....except by the victims. Why bother trying the guy for possession of stolen property when you already have him for stabbing somebody? Crimes are `lost`, forgotten, dismissed, not needed, just plain GONE so the statistics are now useless for getting a real view of crime in Canada.

Further, the evolution of technology is encouraging crime itself to evolve. Why bother getting a gun and a stolen getaway car and robbing a store when you can get a bunch of forged credit cards from your neighbours in organized crime and go on a spending spree with no consequences to speak of? Why bother getting out of your comfortable arm chair and going out into the dark and cold to vandalize the house of a neighbour you don’t like when its so much easier just to lounge in your pajamas in front of a computer screen and send the jerk a virus? And maybe hack his credit cards and online banking information as well? As we know, cops don’t even bother looking for those who spread viruses and hackers are mostly ignored as well....UNLESS there is a really HUGE internet disruption.

The computer is good for all sorts of things like selling stuff online that you have stolen or forged-no need to show yourself and your ID to a pawn shop owner or to a `fence` who may turn fink on you if the cops get to him. Much better to meet the suckers at a coffee shop or at a friends place and later (if there is any trouble) the friend covers for you and denies any involvement since the sucker never saw the friend when the purchase was made and the person who sold the fraud item doesn’t live at the address where it was sold-it’s a double blind cutout.

There is also the political action of thugs and gang members. Thugs have figured out that there is safety in numbers-each gang banger and his girlfriend and mother providing an alibi for the others which makes conviction much harder due to less evidence and the few potential witnesses available to speak having been intimidated by strangers-read other gang members.

Even worse- parents and elder care givers are often dependent on the “income” the gang kid supplies- either from criminal activities or from welfare payments. If one or two family members go to jail it may result in the elders getting evicted to smaller or cheaper quarters- MTHC frowns on one old person living in a 3 bedroom affordable apartment that they cannot pay for- even if the other gangsters will be coming home eventually! So elders are put in an awkward position of feeling compelled to LIE to authorities about criminal activities in exchange for fiscal support!

The thugs also are putting pressure on loonie leftist Lie-beral politicians to rein in `racist` cops and end their alleged brutality. A while back the Lie-beral loving Toronto (Red) Star did an article on how much crime has dropped in 2014 and how quiet it has become in Youth Court rooms across Toronto......the article being presented as if meant cops had somehow decided to stop picking on poor innocent kids.......buried in the article was an admission that in response to `public`(read Black Lives Matter) pressure, cops had drastically cut back on their use of `carding`....that is....stopping and questioning known gang members and their friends who were trespassing and such.....No Contact EQUALS No Problem! No more guns and knives being confiscated, no more stashes of drugs found, no more stolen property found in cars, no more ability to track gang members as they move about the city conducting their `business`! Get the cops to stop looking for crime and the crime `statistics` start to look pretty good!

If you start talking tough on crime then certain ethnic voters scream `white racist` at you....while ignoring the Russian mobster in King City with the fine mansion and the high end BMW with all the frills....and the stash of 800 forged credit cards and the computer with enough stolen personal information to make 4000 MORE cards....which he is selling to gang members and the dork is out on parole for PREVIOUS credit card fraud. And NOBODY is counting the bribery, intimidation and outright extortion needed to get such personal information!

Or the Portuguese guy who was late for his court date to deal with his TENTH arrest for causing an auto smash up while driving drunk-this count does NOT include the MANY other times he was arrested before he hit anything.

Or the guy who extorted 30 MILLION DOLLARS here in Ontari-owe a year back and the McWynnty government cut him a deal: he KEEPS ALL the money and promises to leave Ontari-owe forever and the charge will be dropped....Ontari-owe is so BROKE they don’t have the court and legal resources to deal with such a clever swindler within a sensible time frame!

Or perhaps we should speak of the SEVEN accused murderers recently released from jail this spring of 2017 WITHOUT the bother of a trial! Yes- LIE-berals do not even have the money available to properly prosecute FIRST DEGREE murderers here in Ontari-owe and must release them or see their “rights” violated by not getting a trial in a fair and reasonable time! But LIE-berals DO have LOTS of money ofr teachers- plenty of cash to pay for millions of dollars worth of beer and pizza and comfy hotel rooms for teacher union reps while LIE-berals PRETEND to bargain hard in contract “talks” with their teacher allies! And we all know that a LIE-beral could not get elected to pick up dog crap in the park without the PURCHASED support of civil service union Hogs!

Only a Lie-beral would consider any of this a victory!

I just got back to thinking over that case, it would have been 1983 when I was working in North Vancouver- two of us heard it on the radio at work, I'm not sure of the station but it may have been CFUN (I know the guy I worked with listened to that one a lot) I may have got a little confused on one of the details in that I'm not sure the case actually got dropped but got assessed a token amount like a $1 fine or a day in jail. As to the veracity of case, I'm not is a position to say but it was definitely reported on the radio and it wasn't April Fools Day.

It's all bull I lived here then and No Such Thing Happened

Because you didn't hear about it? :) :) :)

Because it never happened-this was an much smaller place back in the early 80's and something like what you're describing would have not only been local news but Canada wide.

Stop Spewing Please.

G.V.A. was close to a million pop. in 1983. Two of us heard it and we discussed it at length, so I'm not making anything up. Maybe you should quit your spewing and quit pretending to be the authority on everything. The only thing I'm a little vague about is the sentencing process, I know it did get sent back to the judge after review in Victoria and I do know the guy accepted the final sentence as he said at the time it was worth it just to get rid the guy. If it was my daughter or grand daughter I'd have likely done the same thing!
