There is no shortage of land for food. There is no overpopulation. We don't need to decide who reproduces and who doesn't

I agree with you.
If people refrain from their wickedness, and work in agriculture, cattle and poultry production, industry, science and other beneficial disciplines, and on condition: they observe God and His commandments -> they will certainly prosper and have all the blessings.

But they resort to their wrong-doing which leads to --> their misguidance and increase in their wrong-doing and transgression on each other --> which will lead to their destruction and appearance of crises : economic, social and others.

So if they believe in God as One God without equal or son, and they observe the Ten Commandments --- I guaranty for them prosperity and blessings and no shortage of food or any crisis.

By the way, every human being on the planet can fit on the Isle of Wight. So there's definitely no overpopulaton, either.

Good point. I suggest you start drinking it, exclusively.

I'll have to turn it into fresh water first. I'm not drinking it whilst it's salty.

It amazes me how many people forget that well over two-thirds of the planet's surface is ocean. Shortage of water, my a*se.

What a shame.

It amazes me that the British can manage to operate a keyboard and not know how extremely difficult and expensive desalination is. Especially on a grand scale.

You just can't make up that kind of stupid.

Shortage of water, my a*se.

Most of your posts are.

Poppycock. It's your posts which are dubious, matey.

Turning seawater into freshwater suitable for drinking is a fairly simple method which even many ancient civilisations, who didn't have the technology we have today, regularly did.

Again, as are the bulk of your posts.

The myopic nature of your thinking is simply a sad example of the poor state of British education.

What absolute steaming piffle.

You're coming it out with what are, for you, lots of long words now to try and show how "clever" you are: words like "sad."

As for desalination, it's a fairly simple and strightforward method which even an idiot could do. If the ancients could do it, and the method is still used in many parts of the world and on ships to turn seawater into drinking water, it's not going to be very difficult to have vast desalination plants for entire countries.

So the next time the Warmists tell you that we are running out of water to drink, just tell them that your wise, commonensical Uncle Blackleaf believes they are talking nothing but warmed up tripe.

I appreciate your posting a disclaimer over you steaming piffle.

And true to your disclaimer, your post was a steaming piffle.

There is no further need for you to example the poor state of the British education system, by speaking on topics you obviously have less than a cursory knowledge of.

It just makes you look desperate and dumb.
