How Democracies Fail

Could? Is there some way you think he’s not gonna become PM? At least temporarily?
Do Democracies actually "fail"??? or are they destroyed by non democratic style of leadership that IMPOSES non democratic systems , ideas , values on a population that is vulnerable , gullible and suggestable because they are not content with their lot in life.
We are watching Trump gradually make the USA a non democratic nation. He is goveerbnubg bt decree EO , which is dictating what he wants with out the democratic process. This is what the majority voted for and one has to assume that this is what they want. They are disillusioned with demcracy ........or their "version" of it. And being rater petulant, they wanted "something different". IF this affected them alone......that would be one thing and who would give a darn?? But Trump is determine to alter the world order into his crazy fantasy world. ( Disregarding how people feel about it ) His supporters call him a "visionary"........... which he is NOT.....he is just an impulsive , unpredictable and volatile man who is addicted to power and money. And is unfit to run a Democratic Republic.
Democracy can be obliterated right in front of its population and with the population's approval. ( A dangerous leader can convince the masses of anything he wants them to believe. .His supporters willl DENY that vehemently. The Non supporters are virtually helpless to do anything about what a bully like this does. And it has only been one month. If one is not concerned, one is not paying attention. OR is a supporter of the extremes happening . Trump has taken on the whole world...... except his dictator buddies. His fear tactics know no limit now.

If Trump's overall plan was to make American an isolated nation, he's spot on track for it.
If it was his plan to make them a pariah, he's doing a bang up job.
If his plan was to destroy America as the world knew it... I stamp that shit and cry Bingo.
Seems that his plan.....(such as it is).....is to build an Empire , collecting other areas on the planet that would be useful to the US economically. Between him and Musk........ MONEY is the driving force. Look at the agencies he is dsetroying. Nothing moderate that would be a constructive change. It is all radical....and they could care less how many peple are adversely affected.
Nor sure he actually has any real COHESIVE plans as scuh. He just blurts out whatever is crrent in his "stream of consciousness"......... creating unease, mistrust , and even anger in other nations. Domestically , his MAGA group willl support ANYTHING he says and does.............and that is a big signal that democracy is at peril in that country.........or non existent. He has broken a lot of laws with his one man rampage in the brief time he is in office. It will take the world's collective force to stand up to this maniac . And YES........he IS MANIACAL.....in his language and behavior. For someone that claims he wants PEACE..........he is behaving the opposite and antagonizing just about everyone on the planet. Trump is authoritarian in nature and by default. and his true colors are in full display . ( supported by his MAGA followers that approve) If he can't take over the places he wants........he will try to economically destroy them........ and weaken them . until he can take over. Yes. he is that sinister. Sowing chaos , uncertainty, unpredictability are his favored tactics of destruction. Ad the amount of disinformation that he and Musk are spilling onto their population...... little wonder the population has no clue what is fact and what is Trump/ Musk fiction.. Of course the MAGA group believes everything Trump/ Musk tells them. Even when presented with hard FACTS to the contrary. ( another symptom that Democracy is being actively eroded and quickly)
