We?

As far as I understand, there are carbon taxes in only three provinces so far. The two nice ones and the one really dirty one.

I pay on my utilities.

Which ones are nice and which is dirty?

Why are the most threatened chunks of boreal in ON and MB and not AB or down wind in SK?

To lower our carbon footprint we are even trading Crown owned NG for MB Crown "green" hydro and sending the coal power to ND to give them a Size 10.5 EE.

Carbon credits is a scam...

The Government needs to give tax credits to those who make their homes self sufficient, solar powered, geo thermal heat, wind power instead of 100% off the grid.

Walter should get a tax credit by default from the government with all the hot air he produces on this topic, and red negs. Coming from Walter it's a badge of honor, not a neg.

BTW, 70F blue sky's in Eloy, Arizona today ...

Great place for Solar Panels for electric and hot water..

BTW, first time in recorded history Houston, TX is under a sheet of ice... That is weather caused by climate change
And you know this because it has never been cold in Houston before.

Snow and ice[edit]

December 24th Snowstorm, shown on satellite.

Snow is extremely unusual in Houston. Light snow has fallen approximately 35 times since 1895,[22] more recently on December 4, 2009 and February 23, 2010.[23] Occurrences of freezing rain, also known as ice storms, are slightly less rare. The most recent ice storms occurred in 1997, 2007, February 4, 2011, Winter Storm Kronos overnight from January 23, 2014 into January 24, 2014, and Winter Storm Leon on Tuesday January 28, 2014. These storms can be very disruptive since road crews are not equipped to handle such rare events (and most motorists are entirely unfamiliar with ice). When ice occurs, roads and schools are usually closed.

We'd probably have a hell of a lot less pollution if the wacky environmentalist spent a little less time trying to pick the pockets of average folks and looking for incentives that weren't intended to generate cash flow.
