Under those assumptions, then love is just an imagination of the mind with lack of heart?

Peace>>>AJ:love9:

Love is not an imagination of mind with lack of heat.................... if is that so then you can not love any one in this world , for love you need kind heart .............and for kindness you need to think in a postitve and well mannered way.......... and to think should have mind.........

Talk about twisting things around my friend! Whether you believe in God or not, does not stop you from loving. But to endure suffering at the hands of another and still love, has it's limits.

So, only in the strength of love of Jesus in us could we endure past the human limitations.

Loving thy neighbor as thyself reads more than what you are stating above.

Not twisting. Perhaps reading more into what you wrote than what you intended, but...

Moral and correct behaviour is not exclusive to Christians AJ. The majority of the world is not in the Church, and the majority of the people are quite capable of loving and good moral decisions.
The real test for Christians is not their ability necessarily to love, but to love those that they would normally hate.

... I'm obviously not the only one to read what I read in your post.

Perhaps it is the self-righteousness that puts me off.

Thank you Sanctus. So few religious people understand that religion and morality are mutually exclusive concepts.

Congratulations!!! You've finally managed to floor me!! I cannot believe you think such a heresy! There is nothing, absolutely nothing in the Scriptures that supports this idea you hold that there is not a Hell.

Lets see. Who holds the keys to death and hell? And if He holds the keys to hell for what reason would He have to sacrifice His own life and soul for? He had to aquire them!

If People find out that there is no hell, then the Catholic church and the rests of the hell believers would simply cease to exist, because they would have no fear of going to hell. So the reasoning would be, "Why bother"?. Religion puts the fear of hell in man.

What is interesting is that the fear of hell is what keeps many from doing evil continuously.

Yes, they commit evil, then the fear of hell sets in so they have to repent, confess and then feel good again.

It is a cycle.

But just imagine if for the love of God, we fear doing evil, what greater love is there?

We'd give up this life when called in an instant for God.

Now there.......... is that true love that is generated in and from the heart of our souls of which Jesus is the generator.

Behavior problems are dealt with here on earth. We steal,we pay the consequences physically and mentally, for our peace is taken away until we make amends.
Therefore, we create our own hell. For if we suffer doing good, then there is joy in that suffering.

And if joy in our suffering, where is hell?

Perhaps it is a bit deep for many of you, but just remember, one day you will run across these things I have said and wonder about it.

Scripture references: I have the keys of Death and Hades.

(GNB) I am the living one! I was dead, but now I am alive forever and ever. I have authority over death and the world of the dead.

(GW) the living one. I was dead, but now I am alive forever. I have the keys of death and hell.

(KJV) I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

(KJV+) (2532) I am he that liveth,2198 and2532 was1096 dead;3498 and,2532 behold,2400 I am1510 alive2198 forevermore,1519, 165, 165 Amen;281 and2532 have2192 the3588 keys2807 of hell86 and2532 of death.2288

(KJVR) I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive forevermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

(LITV) and the Living One; and I became dead; and, behold, I am living forever and ever. Amen. And I have the keys to hell, and of death.

(MKJV) and the Living One, and I became dead, and behold, I am alive for ever and ever, Amen. And I have the keys of hell and of death.

Regardless of what translation there is the message is still the same: Jesus has the keys to hell and hades.

And if He suffered to save the world, for what purpose would it be to send anybody to hell? Deafeating His whole mission wouldn't it?

Padlocks and door locks are for them that want to steal, but to them that want to live just, a padlock is not a deterrent.

Question to all of you: What drives you to be good? Is it love for God? Or, is it the fear of hell?

If the former, what does hell have to do with it? If the latter, than you had very well better confess!

Isn't that what I have been saying, Hello? Let me underline that part in your own words.

Like I said also, that everybody, both believers and unbelievers have the ability to love, but to go past the human endurances to take abuse the strenght to forgive can only come from God.

Apart from God whatever reason would there be to forgive our enemies?

Outright, complete and total blasphemy and heresy... There is no need for any other explanation. You sir, have denied Christ by denying His very words. There is a Hell, AJ, it is not a construction of the Church, it is desgined by God. The Bible, and Jesus Himself, were quite clear on the topic. If no Hell, one wonders where you imagine Jesus descended to for three days?

I am utterly shocked and appalled that anyone who calls themselves a "Christian" can state such a thing.

Yes, reading more into it is because you were not able to see my point.

Self-righteous is what you perceiving me to be because you are questioning my views.

I in turn not question yours but only present a different view for your observation.

So...........let me be the object of ridicule and perceived weirdness.

The important thing is that I am causing you all to think on these things. Otherwise, there would be no need to respond to my posts?

Aj is very difficult to understand at the best of times. He writes long, contradictory messages interspersed with Bible quotes that, often, leaves one wondering just what in the hell he is trying to say. You will also find, in conversing with him, that he will change his opinion frequently, insisiting that it is you that misunderstood. That, frankly, is what comes from reading the Bible on your own without proper guidance and support-leads one to all sorts of notions and ideas;-)

We respond usually because you make some of the most audacious and incorrect statements I have ever encountered regarding the Scriptures and God. I am frimly convinced that you are as far from Christ and understanding the Scriptures as a snail.

Difficult? Yes, because I am coming from a different point of view. Eventually, some may come to understand as I do, but that is not up to me to decide.

You all are forgetting that my views include all believers and non-believers as beloved souls of God . Therefore, I have to respect their beliefs as beloved souls and not as souls judged by me as unworthy of His love.

While, your views limit me to your beliefs and therefore I am condemned by them.

Note, the faith does not require "new" views. It is already established by Christ.

Faith is a growth in progress. 3Jo 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

Life is a growing, learning and hopefully prospering in health and soul.

So understanding comes as revelation is given to each one of us according to the dictates of the Holy Spirit.

Difficult because you contradict yourself, spread notions that are not in line with even basic Christian thought, and frankly write some of the most ridiculous claims about God, the Church or the faith I have ever encountered. I pray that one day Christ will open your eyes to your errors, and lead you into His mercy.

Heresy. The doctrines of the faith are already determined. God has established them. It is not in our power to change them.

Did it ever occur to you that there is something wrong with coming up with a new defintion of the faith? That the Holy Spirit is hardly going to be teaching
you things which contradict those things we have already been taught?
