Give each Canadian some money that he can give to the poor struggling business of his choice other than his own each year.

I would give to my local grocery store. At least that way I'd be subsidizing my food purchases.

I don't know about you guys, but I myself am not a big consumer of Bombardier products so how do I benefit from a subsidy to Bombardier?

Alternatively, how about a transportation voucher that we can each cash in to buy a vehicle, whether a bicycle, a motorcycle, a car, a jet, a transit pass, shoes, or any other means of transportation. If Bombardier is worth anything, then certain some of that money will find itself in Bombardier's hands, right?

That's it,,,,,, a voucher.

Are those the only two words you got from my post? If so, you might need to brush up on your English.

And just to clarify, most of my post was sarcastic. I'm not fond of bailing out businesses.

Vouchers are your "go to" answer for pretty much anything.

If you choose to read only my posts that mention vouchers, that's your problem.

Alternatively, we could have a separate Catholic and a separate Protestant Bombardier, just like the separate schools.

I think that we can best help Bombardier by being there for them when they need a shoulder to cry on. When they feel lonely or vulnerable, we can be their friend.

You know, a little love and a kind word can go a long way to improve the mood or feelings of someone who is feeling down. Buy them a cup of coffee and sit with them. Let them pour their heart out to you. Just remember to take the gun out of their mouth, so you can understand what they're saying.

A few minutes of your time and some spare change is all it takes.

But, if they don't respond in a good way, feel free to hit them with a baseball bat. Your time is precious too.

Wars are generally good for business. My father's best friend became a millionaire here, manufacturing and exporting aircraft parts to the US during the Vietnam war. Years ago, every time I saw an F4 dropping explosives onto a jungle, I thought I heard a cash register ringing.

When any company runs into financial distress it is because of poor management. The best way to help them would be to let them sink or swim on their own. Waste, skimming profits at the top, overextending are the common reasons for losses. Management should be capable enough to foresee and avoid.

if they can't stand the heat let them go under
that's actually what capitalism, as opposed to the nazi-ism recomended above, demands

if obama had have let the big banks go under, the US economy would have recovered by now, instead of being on the brink of the NOW biggest collapse ever

which some dum dums are already blaming on the guy elected yesterday

I'm not the one that supported Trump's Carrier handout. In fact, I don't support any direct government subsidies to business. Since you do, you should take a good long hard look in the mirror, you Nazi loving Trumpite.

Bombardier exists solely to provide expensive EI payments to otherwise unemployable tradespeople in Quebec. ANd buy votes for the liberals.
