One thing to remember is there are two sides to every story. In a perfect world Canuck offense could score onr goal and Luongo could have a shut-out and we'd win one to nothing. Luongo won't get a shut-out that often and if the offense doesn't get more than a couple or three goals, winning is not automatic but if they get three or four goals, there is a good chance it will be a win.
the chance of winning any game 1-0 are very very slim, and one thing for all of you canuck fans who
never see anything the 'other' team does, only what the canucks do, or don't do, is watch both sides
of a game, i've harped on that point many times.
and what you said above is just another bit of 'only' what the canucks do.
did you not see how nashville outplayed canucks tonight for two periods.
luongo doesn't care if he gets a shut out or not, he just wants to help his team win, just as all of
his team mates do.
the two sides of the story juan are the canucks and the 'other' team and what they came to do.
if the other team scores 3 goals, there is a very good chance 'they' will win, but tonight for two
periods luongo prevented that from happening, thus helping his team mates get themselves into the
game which they did in the last period, that is what a team is all about helping and supporting
each other, picking each other up, leaning on each other, etc.
I didn't see the game. Glad to hear Luongo played decent after getting called out by Torts.
he has stated as much for a few games now, just including him in the fact that the team needs to be
better, and that means him too.
he hasn't been the hero, and he hasn't been the goat. get use to it, he has played well all season
thus far, he's not perfect, but he is of great value to the team, if not, he would have been on the
bench tonight.
there are two sides to every game, oh brother, i won't forget that one any time soon. lol
