The Canucks went from a well oiled winning machine to a sloppy, bunch of dolts who made one wonder how
they got into first place. Luongo's amateur clearing attempt that let St. Louis pop the puck into an empty net
was an example of the general incompetence the Canucks showed last night while losing to a team twenty
points behind them.
you certainly don't understand the working of a hockey team any more than
you could do brain surgery.
nothing is heard from you all the time the team succeeds, but as soon as they have a down game,
boy, here you are with your ridiculous comments, and again, which seems to be something else
you don't understand, a teams standings doesn't mean much when games are being played, as each
team can beat any other team on any given night, but there are you are again, counting numbers,
and can't seem to understand how a team higher in the standings can lose to a team much lower,
as though the lower team is completely lame, well they are not, the teams are very close in
calibre, st. louis has had lots of injuries, and haven't seemed to recover well since, they are
struggling, but they are still a very good team.
you are very easy to read, look for faults and jump all over them, but make sure to ignore the
good play, as it is expected, and doesn't deserve comment.
you apparantly use to coach, well, I wouldn't want to play on your team, because obviously your
approach to how teams work would not be helpful to the success of any team.
I'm so glad vineault and gillis do not react in this way, they have the intelligence to analyze
and see their team in a realistic way, and do not get too high or too low, and approach the highs
and lows with very constructive answers.
Any team who doesn't come out with their A game will lose, and last night canucks did not have
their A game, that is life, the teams are not 'machines', they are human, and do not always perform
at the top of their game, and please follow injuries and realize that they do upset any team, and
put extra pressure on players.
OK, now, to update the team, another defenceman has gone down, as andrew alberts has a broken
wrist, and is out indefinately, and lee sweatt is also injured in manitoba, so yan sauve has
been called up.
This has become very difficult for the team, and they will struggle thru this for
a while till all players are back, or at least most of them.
The big lead they have can help them at this time, as they might slip in the
standings for a while, but not all is lost, because the lead they have will
support them for quite a while.
I hope no more players go down, they have their share and more, right now.
It's funny, as soon as luongo made his boo boo, I said to my husband, "Oh boy
the pencil are getting sharpened now, canadian content will have some comment
about him, they just wait for him to make a mistake, but his marvelous play over
the past while has had 'no' comments. typical.
