It appears that Vancouver just wants to hand the division title to Calgary..... not that I'm complaining at all.

That will be the make-or-break game. If Vancouver wins I am almost certain the division will be theirs for the taking.

The one thing I do feel very bad about is that, my Daughter took two of my
grandchildren to this game tonight, lots of money spent on tickets, $300.00,
lots of travel money, ferry etc., and 'for what', they sure didn't have anything
to get excited about, of all the games they could have attended, they definitely
picked the wrong one, it was a birthday present for her son, I bought him his
ticket for his birthday, and she foot the bill for the rest of the trip.

That may be true, but to even go to a hockey game is a treat. It may have been a bad game to watch, but I am sure your grandchildren still had a blast.

Happy Birthday to your grandson!

sweet 16, or I should say, 'handsome' 16, yes, they would have had fun, but
my daughter will be grumbling, she knows her hockey.

haha, right, I just feel bad cause I was excited about their trip to the game,
and I feel bad cause it wasn't a good one, typical mother, fussing about.;-)

No, I just meant that you both know your hockey quite well.

You will have to make some delicious chocolate chip cookies to lift their spirits.;-)

Thank you. I really appreciate you saying that.

Many people have tantrums when their team loses, I find that rather
frustrating, as it only tells a story about themselves, and doesn't really recognize
the actual events in the game, and why or how the loss came about.
The generalizing and conclusions about the whole team, and not noticing
the details of that particular game.
I read it here, and I hear it on the radio every time the team loses.
I am no expert, but I try to be fair in my observations.

I try to be like that as well, but I will admit to the odd tantrum especially when the team plays poorly for a long period of time. I don't get as crazy as some of the people I have seen on television though.

I remember the one time a fan threw something at Tie Domi(cup of soda?) and he acted surprized when Domi leapt over the penalty box and laid into him. Enjoy the game rather than trying to pick a fight with a guy that could crush you with one hand tied behind his back.;-)

Yeah, I can remember a few interesting fan/player confrontations over the
years too.
Do you notice all those fans who bang on the glass all through the game,
what's that all about, I have never seen a player 'ever' notice any of them.
And, when you see them, while watching the game on tv, they really look
goofy, and the fans who stand up and try to get noticed by the camera,
(or I guess it's for the entertainment of people at their homes), they stand
up and wave and wave, how goofy is that, but some of the signs are kind
of cute that they stand up and point to the camera, last night there was
the one about 'terrace' being the hockeyville town.'

From the brief moments watched of this game a junior team would've stood a better chance of winning.
