TV: SN

Season series: The Vancouver Canucks have defeated the Edmonton Oilers in all three games they have played this season, most recently a 3-2 win on Nov. 1. Henrik Sedin and Daniel Sedin have combined for two goals and nine points for Vancouver. Canucks goalie Ryan Miller is 3-0-0 with a 1.95 goals-against average and .929 save percentage. David Perron leads the Oilers with one goal and two assists.

Canucks team scope: Vancouver is one of four teams that has not lost a game in overtime this season and is coming off a 5-0 loss to the Arizona Coyotes on Friday. Miller allowed five goals on 23 shots and has allowed 12 goals in his past three starts. The 34-year-old is undefeated in 10 starts against Edmonton. Forward Radim Vrbata returned to the lineup against his former team after missing two games because of a lower-body injury. He had three shots on goal in 16:27 in his first game in Arizona since signing with the Canucks in the offseason. The Sedins have a combined 150 points in 159 games against the Oilers. The Canucks start a three-game homestand Thursday against the Anaheim Ducks.

Oilers team scope: Forward Taylor Hall returned to the Edmonton lineup in a 2-1 loss to the Arizona Coyotes on Sunday after missing six games because of an MCL sprain. Scrivens is 0-2-0 against Vancouver this season but has a 2.05 goals-against average and .932 save percentage. Message:Ducks' Kesler set to make return to Vancouver
Anaheim Ducks vs. Vancouver CanucksDUCKS (11-4-5) at CANUCKS (13-6-0)

TV: KCOP-13; SNV

Season series: The Anaheim Ducks are making their first of three visits to Rogers Arena, where they have won four in a row. The Vancouver Canucks earned a 2-1 shootout win against the Ducks at Honda Center on Nov. 9 in the first of five games between the teams this season.

Ducks team scope: All eyes will be on Anaheim center Ryan Kesler, who's playing in Vancouver as a visitor for the first time after being traded to the Ducks by the Canucks during the summer. He's not sure what kind of reception he'll receive from the fans who used to cheer him. "Hopefully they appreciated the 11 years that I played here, and remember the good times," he said Wednesday. "I'm hoping for a warm reception, but if not, it's part of the game." The Ducks are 1-1-5 in their past seven games and are coming off a 4-3 shootout loss at the Calgary Flames on Tuesday in which they blew a 2-0 lead in the third period.

Canucks team scope: The Canucks return to Vancouver after a run-and-gun 5-4 road victory against the Edmonton Oilers on Wednesday. Vancouver couldn't hold leads of 2-0, 3-1 and 4-3, but was able to hold off the Oilers after Yannick Weber's goal with 8:28 remaining in regulation broke a 4-4 tie. The Canucks' top line of Daniel Sedin, Henrik Sedin and Radim Vrbata piled up seven points, with Vrbata scoring twice and the Sedins earning the assists on Weber's game-winner. Ryan Miller stopped 28 shots for the win but has allowed nine goals in his past two starts; backup Eddie Lack could get the call in the second half of back-to-back games.

Well they took one point out of it anyway, too bad to lose it after leading in the third. Anyway I don't think those Ducks can sit back on their laurels!:)

Just looking at the Stats for the Canucks, Goals for vs. Goals against is a pretty frail statistic!

Blackhawks look to keep rolling vs. CanucksSaturday, 11.22.2014 / Chicago Blackhawks vs. Vancouver CanucksBLACKHAWKS (12-7-1) at CANUCKS (13-6-1)

TV: CSN-CH, SNP

Season series: The Chicago Blackhawks went 2-0-1 in three games against the Vancouver Canucks last season.

Blackhawks team scope: Chicago improved to 2-0-0 on its annual "Circus Trip" when it cruised to a 7-1 win against the Edmonton Oilers on Saturday. Marian Hossa had a goal and three assists, and Jonathan Toews scored twice for the Blackhawks, who have won three in a row and five of their past six games. "We had that great start tonight, and that was the difference," coach Joel Quenneville said. "It's an excellent start to our road trip. I like the way we have played and the way we are getting our four-line rotation. We have got some momentum going right now." Blackhawks goalie Antti Raanta was supposed to get the start Saturday but became ill before the game. Depending on how he feels, Raanta may get the start against the Canucks.

Canucks team scope: Canucks left wing Daniel Sedin will play in his 1,000th NHL game Sunday. He has 311 goals and 514 assists, all with the Canucks. "It'll be emotional for myself, for sure," Sedin said Sunday. "To play this long for this franchise, it means a lot to you. We've been through a lot too, a lot of ups and downs. I think we've been through everything." Sunday marks the second of a three-game homestand for the Canucks. They'll be looking to bounce back after a 4-3 shootout loss to the Anaheim Ducks on Thursday. Vancouver took a 3-2 lead into the third period, but Matt Beleskey scored at 11:52 to send the game past regulation. One bright spot for the Canucks was Bo Horvat scoring his first NHL goal; Horvat was a first-round pick (No. 9) at the 2013 NHL Draft. "It's definitely something I'll never forget," Horvat said. "I blacked out a little, but after that but I was definitely happy. You don't really remember it too much. You get flashes of it, but you can't remember the whole thing. You just so excited and the adrenaline's rushing."

I was enjoying tonight's Rangers win over Montreal when suddenly all online connections to the game disappeared. Missed the end and couldn't see the Broadway Blues celebrate their win on the ice or the fans reaction.

Strange how the Blues win some games so convincingly while they lose some games because they don't put out as much as they should.

Oh well. Let's hope they keep going along real good.

yeah rangers were running on all cylinders tonight, they were having fun, montreal not so much, some nights
are like that, everyone in sync, makes the game look easy.

canucks and hawks are having a good game right now, at the moment canucks are outplaying them, but they
are both playing good defense, and goalies are playing well, game tied at 1 right now.

It just doesn't get any better than that. I knew from the get go the team wouldn't let Daniel down on his 1000th game! :)
