Nope. It does say that homosexuality is an abomination. Jesus' opinion on the matter is up for debate. Not categorically stating it is bad doesn't mean it is good. I guess it is you that has missed the point.

LOL

First of all before you get your undies in a knot you might want to read the attached for the Bibical meaning of abomination. Nobody said that "not stating it's bad doesn't mean it's good". Which part of the Bible says it's an abomination- Old or New? Leviticus states something of the sort, but that is not God talking that's man. Why don't you just say what your opinion of it is and let it go at that? Are you so weak that you need substantiation for your opinions?

I beg to differ- if it was important as it was as common them as now Jesus would have stated something on it.
Israel was part of the Roman Empire and homosexuality was not a death sentence.

So many would have tried to trap him.
As noted below

New Testament Study:<br> Matthew 22:15-22
15Then the Pharisees went out and laid plans to trap Him in His words. 16They sent their disciples to Him along with the Herodians. “Teacher,” they said, “we know you are a man of integrity and that you teach the way of God in accordance with the truth. You aren’t swayed by men, because you pay no attention to who they are. 17Tell us then, what is your opinion? Is it right to pay taxes to Caesar or not?”

18But Jesus, knowing their evil intent, said, “You hypocrites, why are you trying to trap me? 19Show me the coin used for paying the tax.” They brought Him a denarius, 20and He asked them, “Whose portrait is this? And whose inscription?”

21“Caesar’s,” they replied.

Then He said to them, “Give to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s.” 22When they heard this, they were amazed. So they left Him and went away.

I think where poor old Cannuck is getting confused (and he's easily confused) is he's been reading too much of the O.T. and believing it. There is all kinds of stuff in there you can be stoned for (by a merciful God) LOL and any truth there is there is metaphorical which means it's open to interpretation (and there is no correct or incorrect interpretation).

Um, who cares what the book of fairy tales says? If if two people of the same sex love each let them love each other. The freaks are people who believe in a god.

The truth is we really do not know or if so what the form of God is. I'd be more inclined to say the freaks are the ones who have made up their minds to close their mind on the issue. I don't know anything about it for sure but am inclined to believe this existance in time and place is like a train station on the C.P.R. across Canada.

Um, who cares what the book of fairy tales says?.

Well that's right, why can't a person make up his mind for himself and act accordingly, but don't judge others by it. I know homosexuality is wrong (for me) but who else cares?

Sure, I'd be inclined to believe if there was proof of a deity. Have yet to see that and I don't live my life based on faith, I like facts.

Such a closed mind.

Show me the facts, I'm open to that.

So if a same sex couple believes in God, are they freaks as well? How about the hetero crowd that believes in God but completely supports gay rights? Are they half freaks?

A judgement is a judgement, and painting an entire group with one broad stroke is the part that shows you to be close minded, not the refusal to be open to the concept of faith.

Sincerely,

A non-freak who supports same sex pairings and everyone's right to practice whatever faith, or lack of faith, that they want.

Now you cannot be sure. And that is fact. You are going on probabilities. The so called logical answer. To make it easier for you as it appears you have comprehension difficulties with my posts.

What is fact? Homosexuality in the animal kingdom. What isn't fact? Proof of a deity.
