Oh for crying out loud, I've probably heard more homosexuals use these terms with each other than I've heard straight people use them in a derogatory manner. A word is a word, and particularly when there is no question as to the context.

I can think of quite a bunch of words that white people are not allowed to use to describe various ethnic groups even though said groups use the same words about each other on a regular basis.
Question: Is it PC for one ethnic minority to use a derogatory term for another ethnic minority group? Or do they have to follow the same PC rules as the rest of us?

I remember growing up in the 80's, us kids in school would call each other pansies all the time, but never thought of it being a bad word for being gay.... it meant you were a chicken sh*t. If we wanted to call each other gay, we'd call someone gay, or queer, or something else that at one time used to mean something else.

Queer used to mean strange or peculiar.... a f@ggot used to be a cigarette last I checked. Pansy has already been explained.

Now a days, if I want to reference someone as being gay, I just call them "Dainty" and flick my wrist or flail both hands up in the air as if I am flaming.

Speaking of which, I'm sure we won't be able to use the word "Flaming" soon enough too.
