The anti trump Chinese just bought about 200 units around here ( and that's just ONE company) and the rent is an average 400 dollars higher (over about two years) for a one bed or a bach, more for two beds and up.....while all our good manufacturing jobs have moved to mexico or china.Then there is the Ontario Hydro bill.
Maybe that's the problem.

I work with the homeless shelter here and I can tell you that is BULLSH!T!
Hey Walt, why don't YOU GET OF YOUR A$$ AND HELP and while you're at it, you might effen well learn something about the reality of the situation.The kind of mistaken view YOU just promulgated is a MAJOR PART OF THE PROBLEM!!!
To be fair, the vast majority that I've met and talked to are due to mental illness.

As much as it pains me, Walter, I have to agree with you as regards to the homeless people I have met here (on the East Coast). And that is a fair number.
For those who want to disagree with me, how many homeless people have you spoken to in the last 10 years?
You should claim refugee status on the basis of being a moron.
And we open up more casinos to raise the funds for the shelters. We should open up more bars, night clubs, and liquor shops too. They bring in lots of cash revenue too. I think taxing marijuana was a brilliant idea. Imagine how much the government could rake in if we legalized and promoted and taxed heroin too. Then we could finally help the homeless with all of that money.
Many of the homeless have mental health issues, and for the rest it's a lifestyle choice. They'd rather beg, borrow or steal and live in the streets than work a 9-5. It's freedom for them. And why get a job when everyone around you keeps giving you free stuff?
