Know what ,if there's anyone in this forum who shares your hopes and dreams -its me. years ago , I felt the same way .
I have always been an upbeat and optimist person . Though , it breaks my heart to see immigrants come here just be heartbroken .Their lives unravelling before them.
I will never deny that there are successful immigrants .But the reality for the majority - 70% according to the liberal nespaper Toronto Star a few days ago are in lowest rung of the economic ladder. Just to think that these are well chosen by the Canadian embassies around the world for their degrees ,education , skill and experience only to end up as a factory workers and cab drivers.
I wish you the best of luck , my friend. I will pray for you .
And I appreciate my Canadian friends , groups and individuals who recognizes the problems , the imperfection of the system.
What I dont appreciate is people like Reverend Blair and his apologists who take themselves and their ideas seriously that they would rather point to their neighbours than deal with their own warts.
