Yes, but he confessed that he was amused at others responding to my posts.

But that's OK, that's his choice. I have no problem with that.

I get enough folks who do respond of which I am grateful to.

After all, I am just as important as they think they are themselves that they should ignore someone.

I have plenty of love to consume anything hurtful thoughts in words.

Thanks for your audience, Gilbert!

AJ the Aztec?
I hope not.
"Hell and brimstone was to keep the shallow believers in line and to scare the hell out of folks who knew no better".
Agreed. But it also was a fraud on deep believers and the privileged. They were taught from birth that The Church was God's, and in medieval times it was the only faith. That was monopoly extortion for indulgences in hard cash, from grieving widows or national treasuries. Jesus says that such a system will get twice what it inflicted. Not hellfire, but exposure and extinction.

If you ever see my heart, look3467, I hope it is at my autopsy. Otherwise I am in big freaking trouble.

Pangloss

Nah, Pangloss, your no different than I am. And I know that there is a heart in you (Not pump) that can be touched.

If I didn't believe so, I wouldn't be telling you.

Sorry, I'm a little dense, what do you mean by "Azrec"?

And you are absolutely right. I came to that conclusion before it was confirmed in me by a documentary I saw on the History channel.

I mean I don't take the history channel as gospel, but it is an objective view of things. Anyways, there was this early church priest that had to make a decision on the subject of universal salvation and render a lwa, a rule or something in the church as gospel truth.

He wrestled with the thought that if he proclaimed universal salvation, the people would not come to God. The other thought was that if he said that there was a heaven and a hell and that those who did not come to God would burn in hell, would cause people to fear and become dependent on the church for their salvation.

It has been a deception and of which it is beginning to come to light as such by the event of the computer and wide availability of information on the subject.

I consider myself very fortunate for having the privilege to have been born during these times of plenty. Thankful to all those who suffered in bringing this information forward through the generations.

Understanding now what I know allows me to be more compassionate verses condemning as I onces used to.

But, I had to seek it out with a passion in order to get it.

Aztecs:"The victim was spread-eagled on a round stone, with his back arched. His limbs were held, while a priest used an obsidian knife to cut under the rib cage and remove his heart. This method was used when honoring the sun god, Huitzilopochtli."
At least it was quick, not eternal.

OK, the pump. I get it. Well, one thing fur-sur, that was the end of it for that poor soul.

I heard that it was in SW Manitoba.

Noooo
You're thinking of Winnepeg perhaps???
That's called purgeatory....or "eject conservatives from existence"....I may have the spelling wrong...

Mikey, eastern Ontario has always been known as God's country. Surely, you're mistaken in your etymology!

lol you guys... anyway, wherever the hell it is, sure looks like hell's frozen over to me. ;-)
