I think it has been well established that both Liberals and Conservatives are corrupt, both are guilty of the same activities, making all this finger pointing rather silly and pointless.
The 'donations' start as a deduction on your taxes, that a business gets a contract after a large donation should come as no surprise. That's how our system is set up to work. The ones already rich aren't all that fond of the idea that those tax deduction filter down to the ones not making the 'said donations'. Taking the money from taxpayers with no deductions and then stabbing them in the back by not making full disclosure in the 'promises made' is what gets people hurt when on going to the bar or wherever. We have already shown how rabid we can be when shutting down a out-of-control government. Watch the Colbert Report segment to appreciate how the 'international community' is responding to that 'revolt'.
