Canada, as part of North America, has a seat in the French National Assembly, and that representative votes in Paris on issues from a Canada-France perspective. France is claiming a form of political sovereignty in Canada because, right now, in Paris, French nationals, in Canada, have a representative in Paris.

It's doing nothing of the sort. It's free to have whatever representation it wants in its national assembly and last I checked French laws still apply to France only, unlike US laws pertaining to US citizens traveling to Cuba from Canada. Now that is a concern.

The point is.... It can happen and a door is open to it happening in a more dangerous way than just some French ballot boxes. We live in a society growing increasingly into what ifs as technology brings the world to our doorsteps. That's part of this new Gobal Society crap too....
