You mean. . . y'all fed, clothed and provided medicine to those terrorists? Well, I guess that makes Canada a terrorist state.
That puts the Canadian liberal government seizing the bank accounts of the convoy, trucker protesters, and those that just contributed to them…. Because they are terrorists…in a different light also maybe, or maybe not. Go Team Hamas!! Or go Team Canada?

It would reduce their funding. Terrorists, I mean.
Well, by the logic that all Gazans deserve to die for being ruled by Ham-ass, similarly all Canadians deserve to die for being citizens of a country that supports and funds terrorism. And being Israel's strongest all (and right next door), I'd say it falls to us.

So it's Illegal to bbq in open fields in the West Bank.

Which is not Gaza.

Oh well, who cares, right? Just another Palestinian kid dead, even if he was Palestinian American... move along, he deserved to die, was probably a terrorist...

Right?

Trudeau needs to answer for Canada’s funding of UNRWA and Hamas
The Trudeau government didn’t care to look deeper or believe the evidence

Did Canada, and Canadians, help fund the tunnels now built across Gaza and the Oct. 7 terrorist attacks by Hamas? The uncomfortable answer is yes, and officials knew despite their public claims of enduring oversight.

For years, the Trudeau government has been funding UNRWA, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency, to the tune of tens of millions of dollars. On June 26, 2023, just over three months before the Oct. 7 attacks, they pledged another $103 million over four years and on Dec. 14, despite all that is now known, a Trudeau cabinet minister said we should be giving more, not less, to UNRWA.

UNRWA and its connection to the terrorist group Hamas is not a new problem, it’s also not new information for Canadian officials, elected or otherwise. The allegations against UNRWA being intertwined with Hamas and their terrorist activities goes back almost 20 years.

While the allegations were denied for years, the Conservative government of Stephen Harper announced in 2010 that it was withdrawing funding from UNRWA and that it would be “redirected in accordance with Canadian values.”

UNRWA has been criticized for years for running schools based on anti-Semitism and teaching students to hate Jews. Over the years, it has also been well documented that UNRWA facilities have been used to hide weapons and even launch attacks.

Despite knowing all of this, Justin Trudeau promised to reinstate funding after coming to government. His government claimed to have negotiated oversight of how funds would be used when they began sending money again, starting with $16 million in late 2016.

“Our re-engagement with UNRWA is actually allowing us to hold to closer account the choices and the funding that is delivered through that mechanism,” Trudeau told the Commons in April 2017.

“We know that Canadian pressure and Canada being part of UNRWA allow us to ensure that the help is going to where it is needed and it is not creating negative consequences for Israel or for anyone else.”

We now know that not to be true.

Evidence has been presented to the Trudeau government consistently and has been consistently ignored. Trudeau himself has defended giving money to UNRWA over and over again in the Commons — as recently as Dec. 14, Ahmed Hussen, minister of International Development, was calling for more money for UNRWA.

“How can Canada fund UNRWA when one of its own employees held an Israeli citizen hostage in Gaza?” Independent MP Kevin Vuong asked the government.

“In these crucial times, trusted agencies, like UNRWA, must receive more support, not less,” Hussen said.

When that exchange took place more than a month ago, the complicity of UNRWA in the Hamas attacks of Oct. 7 had been well documented. From the UNRWA employees holding hostages to tunnels being connected to UNRWA facilities.

Supposedly well-meaning countries like Canada have sent aid money for schools, for health care and for infrastructure to UNRWA and it has been diverted to the evil and deadly acts of Hamas. As author and former Labour Party member of the Knesset Einat Wilf has said, “Hamas is UNRWA and UNRWA is Hamas.”

Wilf has met with and warned Canadian officials at the embassy in Tel Aviv about what was happening to their donations to UNRWA but her warnings were ignored. We cannot say that the Trudeau government didn’t know what was happening to our funding, we can say they didn’t care to look deeper or believe the evidence.

Since 2016, we have given well over $200 million in funding to UNRWA with untold sums going to Hamas.

According to UNRWA’s published list of funders, Canada has been a top 10 donor for years, giving $23,713,560 or $32 million Cdn. We’ve been giving similar amounts for years and it has to stop.

The Trudeau government needs to take off its blinders and stop sending Canadian tax dollars to aid an organization that aided in the viscous terrorist attacks against Israel.

A nice UNRWA tunnel under a refugee camp.

Canada is suspending funding to a controversial UN agency in Gaza after allegations this week that its employees participated in the Oct. 7 terrorist attack against Israel? But…this isn’t new news, it’s old news.
For years, the Trudeau government has been funding UNRWA, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency, to the tune of tens of millions of dollars.
This follows an announcement by the U.S government Friday that it was immediately pausing funding for the the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), after evidence presented by the Israeli government this week alleged 12 of the agency’s employees took part in the Hamas-led attack, in which terrorists murdered over 1,000 Israelis, mostly civilians.
On June 26, 2023, just over three months before the Oct. 7 attacks, they pledged another $103 million over four years and on Dec. 14, despite all that is now known, a Trudeau cabinet minister said we should be giving more, not less, to UNRWA.
Late on Friday, International Development Minister Ahmed Hussen issued a statement saying Canada would also suspend funding for UNRWA.
UNRWA and its connection to the terrorist group Hamas is not a new problem, it’s also not new information for Canadian officials, elected or otherwise. The allegations against UNRWA being intertwined with Hamas and their terrorist activities goes back almost 20 years.
Late on Friday, International Development Minister Ahmed Hussen issued a statement saying Canada would also suspend funding for UNRWA.
While the allegations were denied for years, the Conservative government of Stephen Harper announced in 2010 that it was withdrawing funding from UNRWA and that it would be “redirected in accordance with Canadian values.”
Wait, if Harper, in 2010 (!!) had the intel to stop the funding of HAMAS/UNRWA from Canada, then what happened? Did he take it with him when he left office? Hid it behind Biden’s Corvette at Mar-a-Lago?
UNRWA has been criticized for years for running schools based on anti-Semitism and teaching students to hate Jews. Over the years, it has also been well documented that UNRWA facilities have been used to hide weapons and even launch attacks.
Canada had suspended funding to UNRWA under the previous Harper government due to long-standing allegations that the agency promoted antisemitism and was linked to terror groups, such as Hamas. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau reinstated Canada’s $25 million in funding in 2016.
Despite knowing all of this, Justin Trudeau promised to reinstate funding after coming to government. His government claimed to have negotiated oversight of how funds would be used when they began sending money again, starting with $16 million in late 2016.
Yes, a Palestinian Subway System, without the trains, lots of pipe for sewer systems, rocket motors for….personal high speed trains or something, guess we should’ve asked a few more questions…
“Our re-engagement with UNRWA is actually allowing us to hold to closer account the choices and the funding that is delivered through that mechanism,” Trudeau told the Commons in April 2017.
And Viola!! Yadda yadda yadda, Oct 7th.😳
“We know that Canadian pressure and Canada being part of UNRWA allow us to ensure that the help is going to where it is needed and it is not creating negative consequences for Israel or for anyone else.”
“As the extent of the involvement of UNRWA employees in the October 7th terror attack and the holding of hostages in Gaza continues to emerge it can no longer be ignored,” B’nai Brith Canada said earlier on Friday in a statement.

“B’nai Brith Canada believes that it is imperative that Canada pause its funding (That Harper had Already Paused, in 2010!!!) of UNRWA and that the UN immediately commence its proposed comprehensive review of UNRWA and its role in the October 7th massacre.”

….& the UN will get right on that…
We now know that not to be true.
Well, I suspect it, anyway.
Evidence has been presented to the Trudeau government consistently and has been consistently ignored. Trudeau himself has defended giving money to UNRWA over and over again in the Commons — as recently as Dec. 14, Ahmed Hussen, minister of International Development, was calling for more money for UNRWA.
In Liberal circles, it’s called doubling down!
1706320343162.jpeg
“How can Canada fund UNRWA when one of its own employees held an Israeli citizen hostage in Gaza?” Independent MP Kevin Vuong asked the government.
Great question. Should we ask Steven Harper? Nope, ‘cuz He’s been out of politics for three election cycles & A DECADE!!
“In these crucial times, trusted agencies, like UNRWA, must receive more support, not less,” Hussen said.
Late on Friday, International Development Minister Ahmed Hussen issued a statement saying Canada would also suspend funding for UNRWA.

Israel has been saying this, since the very, very beginning, but, ya’ know, Jews & such.
That sounds so damn familiar at this point.
So, not all Palestinians are Hamas, but Hamas are all Palestinians…& Hamas is UNRWA and UNRWA is Hamas. UNRWA is the largest agency of the United Nations, employing over 30,000 staff, 99% of which are locally recruited Palestinians. It is a complicated arrangement, & it potentially puts the UN and its resolutions with respect to Israel in a different light? Or it doesn’t? Go Team!

Oh yeah, & Liberal MPs who have been pushing for a ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas war said they were “disappointed” by a United Nations’ top court’s ruling on Friday, but say they will ask their government to insist Israel abide by the ruling’s provisional measures.

The UN’s top court, so under the same governing body as….UNRWA. Huh…
The Trudeau government has been accused of trying to play both sides by refusing to take a clear position in the case.

Earlier this week, Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre criticized Trudeau and Joly for “deliberately giving answers that no one can comprehend” so that Liberal MPs can tell their constituents whatever they want to hear.

The UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) earlier said it had opened an investigation into some employees that Israel alleges were involved in the October 7 attacks that triggered the current conflict.

On Saturday, Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) Secretary-General Hussein al-Sheikh said the countries’ decision “entails great political and humanitarian relief risks”.

Top Palestinian officials and Hamas have criticised the decision by some Western countries to suspend funding to the United Nations relief agency for Palestinians and called for an immediate reversal of the move that entails “great” risk.

So…now Hamas cares about the Palestinians in Gaza? Interesting…

Italy, Australia, Canada and the United States said they would halt funding to the agency, while European Union foreign policy chief Josep Borrell said the 27-member bloc would “assess further steps and draw lessons based on the result of the full and comprehensive investigation”.

The United Kingdom and Finland also joined the growing list of countries to pause financial aid to the UN agency, whose facilities where displaced Palestinians sought shelter have been repeatedly attacked in Israeli air raids.

Hamas on Saturday slammed Israeli “threats” against the agency, after Israel accused several UNRWA staff of involvement in Hamas’s October 7 attacks in southern Israel that the authorities there have said killed about 1,140 people.
The International Court of Justice ordered Israel to exercise more restraint in Gaza after concluding that “at least some” of Israel’s actions in response to the October 7 Hamas attacks are “capable” of falling within the boundaries of the Genocide Convention.

The decision relied heavily on information from the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) concerning conditions in Gaza.

Shortly thereafter, in a separate but intertwined statement, UNRWA dismissed twelve (of the 30,000-ish) of its employees after being presented with strong evidence that they were involved in the October 7 attacks.

Pretty sure more than 12/30,000-ish knew about Hamas & cooperated with them in Gaza even just in the tunnel systems under (with entrances into) Schools, Day-Cares, Hospitals, etc…let along other collaborations with Hamas.

On the day that the ICJ decision was being announced, Hamas still holds civilian hostages from October 7 and was still fires rockets into Israel.

Cops rack up whopping $7.5 million bill policing protests

Author of the article:Brad Hunter
Published Jan 25, 2024 • Last updated 23 hours ago • 3 minute read

The hundreds of protests choking city streets, thoroughfares and expressways like a clogged artery have a price.

And it’s a pretty steep one.

The Toronto Sun has learned that since the Oct. 7 Hamas terrorist attack that killed more than 1,300 Israelis, the Toronto Police Service has spent an eye-popping $7.5 million in salaries alone policing the endless “unplanned events.”

That’s not even counting the cost of investigating vandalism, hate crimes and mischief beefs.

Since the attack and the resulting blowback that has killed thousands of Palestinians in Gaza, there have been 343 demonstrations and protests with no doubt more on the way.

Every weekend there have been mostly pro-Palestinian protests at highway overpasses, on the Gardiner Expressway, in malls, in front of retailers deemed off-message and scores of other locales.

“We happen to live in a big city and unplanned incidents like these happen to happen,” Toronto Police Association President Jon Reid told the Sun, adding the big dollar number comes as no surprise.

“But the Toronto Police Service has a job to do for the public, so there is no getting around it,” he said. “Truthfully, a lot of officers would rather be doing something else.”

Reid noted the problem is that officers are redirected to maintain order at the protests, meaning resources are taken away from regular patrols, proactive policing and investigations.

“911 response times are now 22 to 26 minutes and that’s not a reasonable response time,” Reid said, adding in 18 of 25 wards the wait is longer. “The association and the chief believe that adequate staffing is a legislative responsibility.”

Toronto has the same amount of cops as the city did 20 years ago and the TPS has said there are 600 fewer officers than there were in 2020. In light of a nearly 500,000 population boost since 2020, the blue line is getting stretched thin.

Toronto Police Chief Myron Demkiw did not respond to the Sun’s request for comment, but the top cop noted recently that the protests are hammering TPS staffing, saying the city is ” uniquely impacted by geopolitical events.”

The Big Smoke isn’t alone in blowing lotsa cash to keep the frequently volatile demonstrations (“I’ll plant you six feet deep!”) under control.

Across the country in Vancouver, the VPD has “proactively” deployed cops to 80 events deemed potentially volatile. Those Hamas hoedowns have cost Van Groovy cops $2.5 million in overtime alone.

What could that cashola do?

Earlier this week, there was a Canadian Press story out of Nova Scotia where the government is spending $7.5 million to purchase 200 shelters to provide housing for the homeless. The shelters have access to electricity, washrooms, laundry and on-site support as required by the manufacturer.

Jon Reid said the Catch-22 Toronto cops find themselves in is raising eyebrows among the public because of the slow response times. And sometimes how fast officers get to the scene can be a matter of life and death.

“This really should be a big concern to politicians in the city and elsewhere,” Reid said. “Criminals know the score, police know the score, and so does the public.”

Meanwhile, across the country the same amount of money that Toronto has spent for police to babysit protesters, and ensure they play nicely, has gone to build shelters for the homeless.

No doubt few of the starry-eyed Hamas bros ruling our streets see any correlation.

Liberal MP Salma Zahid told reporters before Friday's caucus meeting that she was "a bit disappointed that they didn't ask for an immediate ceasefire” regarding the UN ICJ Court

"As a signatory, I think it's incumbent on Canada to convince Israel to make sure that they (meaning Israel, but not Hamas) follow what has been said in regards to making sure that civilians are protected, in regards to making sure that humanitarian aid can get in there," she added.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau hasn't yet commented on the International Court of Justice's ruling Friday.

This was a jihad-like terror attack in Canada that no one seems to know about

It’s not every day there is a jihadist-inspired terror attack in Canada related to Israel’s war in Gaza that few seem to know about.

But it did happen and the country is just fortunate no one was murdered in the process. The potential was definitely there.

This was an all-out Gaza-inspired, jihadist terror attack with gunfire and home-made bombs at Edmonton’s City Hall on Tuesday and not a word out of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau about it so far. In fact, on X he was talking about being at the women’s professional hockey game in Ottawa.

This was a terrifying incident. Security video shows a man entering Edmonton’s City Hall wearing a Commissionaires Security jacket and carrying a long gun and appearing to shoot it. Police say he was “heavily” armed.

But no one seems to be talking about it much.

It’s almost like this potentially genocidal rampage was missed by the country. Or even covered up or softened in terms of its seriousness.

Certainly, when you compare the coverage to the reaction of media and politicians on the truckers’ Freedom Convoy or the arrests and trials of Tamara Lich, Chris Barber and Pat King or the Coutts Alberta four conspiracy to commit murder case, it’s a head scratcher how understated this incident has been so far when you weigh and compare the evidence.

What happened here is way more serious than anything that happened with the truckers protest. But you would never know that judging from the reaction of the the media and political class.

However things are spun about what happened in Edmonton Tuesday, this was clearly as dark and concerning as something can ever get. In addition to the horror of security video showing the armed man during his attack, a taped manifesto which included Arabic greetings was also discovered.

This was one close call to being something nobody could even attempt to downplay.

Let’s review what we know.

“At approximately 10:18 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2024, a male parked his vehicle in the City Hall underground parkade, then entered the building from the parkade access,” Edmonton Police say. “Once inside City Hall, he lit several handheld incendiary devices, believed to be Molotov cocktails, that caused one small fire outside an elevator. He then fired several rounds from a long gun into the ceiling, walls and windows.”

Thankfully “no one was struck by gunfire” and that a brave security officer knew what to do.

“The male then dropped the firearm on the floor and surrendered to a City Hall security Commissionaire, who detained him until police arrived moments later,” police said, adding they “and RCMP Tactical teams then worked for several hours to secure and clear the building of any further threats, escorting out citizens who had been sheltering in place in various locations throughout City Hall.”

The alleged terror suspect is Bezhani Sarvar, 28, himself a Canadian Corps of Commissionaires security guard but not at City Hall. In an orange jumpsuit he made his first appearance in court Thursday and has been remanded in custody until at least Feb. 2 when a bail hearing is expected to commence.

People have heard his voice in what is believed to be a home-made video. In the video the man, who is believed to have come to Canada in 2012 from Afghanistan, is taped suggesting people fight against “this corruption, into this genocide that’s going on in Gaza and throughout the world” and “inshallah (‘if God wills’ in Arabic), we will rise against you guys, and we’ll put you on trial.”

He also said, “Salaam-Alaikum, brothers and sisters, before I do my mission, I want you all to know that I am not a psychopath. I do not believe in bloodshed,” adding, “I am not one of these monsters that hurt children, that hurt innocents, and that promote wars all around the civilization of our society.”

He added “I’m just tired of seeing the tyranny and corruption taking over our society and our lives.”

Edmonton Police say it is “aware of a video circulating that may be related to this incident” and investigators are reviewing this video” along with the RCMP and INSET (National Security Enforcement Teams).

“Our officers are working closely with our national security partners on this investigation,” said Chief Dale McFee. “I would like to reassure the public that we believe there is no further threat to public safety at this time. The investigation is in its early stages, and we will continue to update Edmontonians as it progresses.”

McFee also said, “We believe this individual acted alone” and “believe there are no other accomplices.”

But how does anybody know for sure? We heard that same explanation in 2018 with Danforth shooter Faisal Hussain, who shot to death two young women on a July night and wounded 13 other people. Despite having connections to a brother before the courts and having earlier travelled to Pakistan, and sparing some in his bloody path, a conclusion was made that no one knew why he committed these heinous crimes. But there was so much carnage, there was no easy way to gloss it over.

The video manifesto in Edmonton reminds of the killer in the Cenotaph slaying of Cpl. Nathan Cirillo, a terror event at Parliament Hill that saw the terrorist tape a video.

In this week’s case, no one was hurt or killed, so there appears to be little interest in it.

But things could have turned out differently. What we do know is this was a terror attack at a hall of democracy that could have resulted in massive carnage and very few people are even talking about it.

B’nai Brith Canada says they are “deeply troubled” after learning of the “terrifying events that unfolded in Edmonton.”

“We fear that the perpetrator’s reference to the Israel-Hamas conflict in their manifesto will only lead to the further incitement against Canadian Jews in the midst of an unprecedented surge in antisemitic incidents,” Marty York, of B’nai Brith Canada, said.

If found guilty - which he might just be - deport him back to Afghanistan if that's where he's from, or wherever it is.

Or maybe Canada's response should be to go back to Afghanistan and fight the Taliban again? I mean, that's equal to what others here would want, right?
