We are ridiculously low on people willing to do entry level and laborious jobs. You have to be pretty dim to try and prevent eager people from entering the country.

I personally know some. Those ones re-settled in Canada but a lot of Mennonites settled in Mexico (from Russia)

Oh there is a MIS- GUIDED IDEA! We are NOT short of people to do entry level jobs-rather we are short on slaves who will work for nothing and who don't mind giving an employer whatever they want when ever they want it while the kid continues to live with parents well into adulthood!
I recall one local kid who applied to a recycling centre job that had been advertised and was told to get lost-the job is ONLY suitable to somebody who will be ON CALL as necessary and whose PARENTS WILL DRIVE them to the job as work hours start later and finish earlier than the local regional transit! So no guarantee of hours worked and no way to even get the job unless parents are so sick of kid they will get up in the NIGHT to take the kid to and from work!
WAY TO MANY jobs outside the GTA require a car BUT the job does not pay the money necessary to MAINTAIN that car! And once the car breaks, the young person is screwed for work!
Our local Cdn Tire Store got a renovation and a LOT of new staff-with all of the new workers lined up on the curb at shift change waiting for Mommy to come get them!
Or consider some of the furniture stores I used to do business with-they sought out people living in "affordable housing" because they could be paid under the table thanks to that govt "aid" and the store SAVED on book keeping costs for Canada Pension Plan and Health Levy and all that!.
Then add in the insane LIES told to our kids by greedy community college scammers-all sorts of guff about being a respected professional in your field and making good money-like in the 50 grand range......and if you dig into their LIES you find the only jobs are MINIMUM WAGE and that`s AFTER the costly college training!
My favorite "that kid is screwed" story concerns a local kid who took a heavy equipment operator course at the college in Lindsay and graduated to a job driving a pick up truck-delivering stuff for a construction company. The job lasted ONE YEAR! ONE damned year and then the govt grant ran out and they hired a high school kid to do the job formerly done by the college grad!
And some people wonder why the kids are grouchy and apathetic?
AS for Muslims-they MIGHT be more willing to do Mcjobs than our kids but ONLY because govt is subsidizing them! Most of those Muslims are on welfare and getting basic stuff like clothing, dentistry, and rent money supplied-with any other money they earned as gravy on top of existing govt cash!
Why don't those who want to sneer at kids try offering the kids an extra grand per month in assorted "aid" and see how the kids react to that bump in pay.....or maybe just cancel their student debt for the Mcjobs they cannot get.
Ontari-owe teachers colleges graduate 15,000 kids each year for a maximum of 5000 jobs......no matter how you slice it a bunch of aspiring teachers are paying for a hugely costly education they may never use-and virtually all colleges and universities have similar employment records-its why 25 percent of graduates declare bankruptcy!
The truth is that our wretched LIE-beral govt WANTS us all to be broke and semi employed as it will make it much easier to keep us in line.....salivating like obedient dogs for whatever crumbs our LIE-beral overlords care to throw us!
And now the chorus line of civil service Hogs will start their song of woe-lamenting that kids did not do their homework properly and should not have rushed into courses that were not suitable and etc......and the Hogs will tell us how entitled THEY ARE and how foolish the kids are even as the Hogs ruin the economy for kids AND for Muslims-its not bigotry that is radicalizing so many of them-its bloody un-employment and boredom! They have figured out that western society is run by LIARS and they don't like it!
