A sickening ISIS plot to poison the ice cream of kindergarten students has been thwarted by the German secret service.
The sinister scheme emerged during hearings into two fanatic jihadists who detonated a bomb at a Sikh temple during a wedding. Both men were found guilty.

According to the Daily Star, one of the temple bombing accused, known only as Mohammed O., 17, had planned to sell the poison ice cream. Four were injured in the temple attack and the duo were sentenced to less than three years in prison. Prosecutors hope a new trial Dec. 7 will see higher sentences.

My God but you have problems.
I don't lead a Troop or a Pack of any of that, these days. I'm way too long in the tooth for that. Young mothers are mostly taking over (the young fathers are thin on the ground and are nowhere to be seen in 2019).
I do work behind the scenes doing technical stuff and my volunteer contribution to Scouting amounts to a couple of man weeks total per year ( 100 hrs/year, approx.). I am a volunteer and I do do willingly.
It's a disgraceful sign of our decay as a society when volunteering to help youth, or for the military, or a church settle refugees or for any cause at all other than yourselves is somehow "liberal" or "prog". . Those were the values that made Canada great, not gun slinging.

We form labour unions when labour laws don't go far enough, private schools when public schools disappoint, professional associations to establish ethics when our employees won't, associations to fight cancer when the medical system is working too slow, co-ops to get affordable housing when housing developers are profit driven, neighborhood watches when the police aren't affecting peace, soup kitchens to fight homelessness when our social net has holes in it, volunteer fire departments when the government doesn't, scholarships to educate, after school sports leagues,
all sorts of organizations that form when the government that you so worship comes up short on their promises.
You are so full of shit. The group I am associated with has approx a 50% women and 50% men ratio.
You have no right to form armed groups intent on opposing the civil authority of this country. If you can't live with those basic rules, I suggest that you move South. The Americans don't like armed militias that oppose their governments either but they have constitutional protections that will never, ever happen here in Canada ... not in a thousand year's time.

Maybe out in the boondocks but around here it is 80%-20% and there are several of us men, locally, in our sixties because the young men are not to be found.
