Oh we do indeed get that warm by 9AM.Well, it is summer there after all, Saskatchewan gets those temperatures in summer too, maybe not by 9 AM, but by noon sometimes.

I know. We get temps like that here, too. My point was that just because there's a cold snap in one part of the globe, it doesn't mean that another part is not experiencing blistering heat. There's a couple people here that seem to have a problem with understanding that wherever they focus their attention on does not mean the rest of the "wherevers" cease to exist.Well, it is summer there after all, Saskatchewan gets those temperatures in summer too, maybe not by 9 AM, but by noon sometimes.
Another funny aspect is that people rely on their 4 WD all the time, so when they get stuck, they REALLY get stuck. If they'd use 2 WD most of the time and then use the 4WD when a difficulty happens, they would be fine. lolGet out? For real?
One would think so, EagleSmack, but such is not the case. Winter comes and some people are still driving on their summer tires, or worse they think because they have a 4WDR vehicle that they can go anywhere and stop on a dime when roads are icy. 8O

There are techniques to using 4WD, and folks have there own way of doing it. I do use it on the highway in snowy conditions, but you have to be really careful, just as you would with 2WD. I just find it gives better control, but it takes practice. I've found out, the hard way, driving in 2WD can get you stuck and 4WD will usually get you out, but if driving in 4WD gets you stuck, call a tow truck, and some buddies, and chains, and come-alongs.8O
