Most of us want more money, more services at a lower price, lower taxes, cheaper medical, more medical, more help for seniors, more help for children, better education opportunities, subsidies for enterprize, so H.T.F. is the Gov't. supposed to do all this and maintain less spending? You can't suck and blow at the same time!

This government thinks only about benefit for corporations it has no plan for
services to people. No i don't mean EI or welfare. We have to balance what
is an expense and what's an investment in education and training in ensuring
there is a healthy food supply and determining what the future needs of the
country really amounts to. They have done none of this. They have this thing
about crime which is no worse than it has been and they are obsessed with
destroying the public service.
All the effort has been to fulfill the promises of latter day Reform beliefs and
the country has changed since those days more that two decades ago.
The time has come for the people to throw them out onto the street and get a
government that listens to the people.

I would agree that Gov't. performance is probably mediocre at best, Grumpy, but what other party do you think will provide a better performance over the long term? I think there is something to be said for booting them out from time to time as they say "a new broom sweeps clean", but I don't know if we've come to that time yet. I think every change in Federal Gov't. probably costs us $billions up front, so obviously it's not something we want to do often, so I'm not sure if the time has come and am even more unsure of who is going to put forth a better performance.

Corporations are spending in areas where Govt falls short. A good example is in health care. Try to find a hospital that hasn't had massive and ongoing Corporate donations and support.

You're 1/2 right... I don't pretend they are fact, but I do quote dumb posts... You being the poster most often quoted

Cute.

Doesn't change the fact that you consistently support blogs like wattsup and sda so a winner is you!

Both WUWT and SDA are credible sources; much more so than Mother Jones, Slate and Huffpo.

I'm glad you feel those blogs are credible but you are not supposed to going against cap's talking points lol
