The pioneer of genocide, and you love him and St. Hitler.

Good choice, for an immoral piece of human garbage.

“Through patience a ruler can be persuaded, and a gentle tongue can break a bone” (Proverbs 25:15, NIV). Patience and gentleness are among the fruit of God’s living presence in His people, DL (Galatians 5:22-23a, NIV).

Yeah English versions are based from Hebrew, Greek and Latin. All 3 are precise languages and written within a similar time frame. Those languages haven't changed.
No natural language is without ambiguity. It didn't take much searching for me to find essays from biblical scholars on the various ways some of the original Greek of the New Testament can be rendered into English, all of them consistent with the Greek but not saying the same things in English. Check out this guy's 3-part blog on the subject: https://openoureyeslord.com/2013/06...nd-greek-are-not-needed-in-the-pulpit-part-1/

Are you assuming? When did they evolve? Did they lose any words from the languages? Have they evolved like English? English is a dirty and sloppy language comprised of bits and pieces of several European languages.

It's a sin to use slang in Hebrew and why it's stands solid. Same goes for making a mistake in copying text and was carried over into Christians and why they stuck to Latin until Luther came along.

Mathematics is a language. Show me some math slang or ambiguities.

I am not a ruler. Are you?

I will let others be patient with homophobes and the misogynous who adore genocidal characters.

Immoral believers have had 2,000 years of their vile ways.

Love your Christianity, as they kill more native babies and screw our boys.

“In the shelter of your presence you hide them from all human intrigues; you keep them safe in your dwelling from accusing tongues” (Psalm 31:20, NIV).

God’s relational presence provides shelter from deceptive chicanery and baseless accusations. How has God’s dwelling with you safeguarded your shalom?

Stop lying about your imaginary god.

It has been a distinct pleasure sharing thoughts with you, DL (Proverbs 27:17). May the Lord be with you and bless you.
I do not accept blessings from genocidal satanic gods.

Thank Hitler and Yahweh anyway, but no thanks.

“The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth” (John 1:14, NIV).

The relational presence of God culminated in His incarnation of Christ. The scribes of the gospels and the epistles present God’s condescending glory in Immanuel, God with us.

Patience and gentleness, DL.

You can have them, too: “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth” (Acts 1:8).

The power to self-control and express the truth in grace come by His Spirit. The Spirit-filled church is the locus of God’s relational presence in our day.

I'm simply reporting what I've read on what various biblical scholars have written. The ancient Hebrew the OT was originally written in, and the Koine Greek the Septuagint and the NT were written in, and the Latin of the Vulgate, are no longer spoken anywhere, so of course they're static and no longer evolving. Any actively spoken language will evolve. But ancient Hebrew and Koine Greek and 4th century Latin certainly evolved from other languages, they didn't just appear fully formed.

I said "natural language, " which mathematics is not. That's the straw man fallacy, trying to disprove something I didn't say. But if you insist: any mathematical system complex enough to contain arithmetic will have within it propositions that cannot be shown to be true or false. That ambiguous enough for you? Look up Godel's Incompleteness Theorems. For something simpler, is x/x/x equal to x, or 1/x?

God’s relational presence resides in and manifests through those who belong to Him by His grace through faith in Christ. “Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst?” (1 Corinthians 3:16, NIV).

The evidence of God’s relational presence is love: “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails” (1 Corinthians 13:4-8a).

Where was the self control when Yahweh was killing instead of curing during his genocidal fits?

Will Jesus have it when he returns to send the vast majority of us to hell?

You want moral people to self control and have patience, while Christians and Muslims continue with their homophobic and misogynous evil beliefs.

Christianity is dying and I am impatient to see the harm it continues to do as it dies.

Better a bullet through it's vile head than killing it by a thousand cuts.

Tell Christians and Muslims to self control their immoral homophobia and misogyny.

Condemning that genocidal Yahweh to hell is what all moral people do.

You neglected the most important factor for love.

Not surprising given your slave mentality.

True love must have reciprocity.

Love will be known by works and deeds and reciprocity said Jesus.

If Yahweh/Jesus love to you includes geocoding and sending to hell the vast majority of us, then you set a really low bar for love.

If that geocoding love is the best you can envisage for a god, you might wonder why you call god Yahweh instead of Satan, who BTW, Christianity shows as female.

Oh well. Women have always taken man's blame. This aside.

The reciprocity of Yahweh's love says that I should kill him if I see him.

Scriptures do say, be ye as genocidal and perfect as Yahweh.

That is his law.

He wants us to kill him.

”If you say, ‘The LORD is my refuge’, and you make the Most High your dwelling, no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. You will tread on the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent. ‘Because he loves me,‘ says the Lord, ‘I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.” (Psalm 91:9-15, NIV).

Have a blessed day, DL.

What's funny is if you are an "atheist" and get saved by your guardian angel...several times.
:)
No mention at any time of a God though, but knowing where the root word for "god" actually comes from, and what the other words extending from that root are, that is NOT surprising.

That appears to be saying that if you believe the right things nothing bad will ever happen to you. That's a patently absurd claim.
It is good of you to bring this up for us to examine in situ, DS.

According to Hebrew scholarship, the literary and historical contexts of Psalm 91 point to Moses as the human author and the wilderness tabernacle period of ancient Israel as the setting. In these contexts, the psalmist ascribes shelter, rest, refuge, salvation, rescue, protection, response, deliverance, satisfaction and life to God, the Most High, the Almighty, the LORD. The tabernacle was less of a physical shelter for the Israelites and more of a spiritual refuge for God’s people. The tabernacle served as a locus of God’s reconciling and relational presence among them.

Bible commentators pair Psalms 90 and 91, recognizing these as a spiritual portraits of Adam and Christ, respectively. Psalm 91 is regarded by Christian scholars as a messianic psalm.

A spiritual battle between Christ and ”the fowler” (Psalm 91:3) played out in Luke 4. An abbreviated version of Psalm 91:11-12: “For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone” is quoted in Luke 4:10: “He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee: And in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone” (KJV). Notice that “in all thy ways” is missing in the devil’s version in Luke 4.

Be blessed, my Friend.
