It was a bit of poetic justice when Pronger had a puck bounce off him into his own goal. I thought Ottawa played more of their own game last night.
Yea, I saw that hit too. It was vicious. Why the refs didn't call a penalty on that was beyond me. Well, hopefully, the NHL will review this hit and Pronger will hopefully gets a reasonable suspension.
After the elbow, I think the refs gave a few borderline penalties to Anaheim, especially the one to Getzlaf on the power play in the third period.

Not quite. That final roughing penalty against Ottawa in the third period was a complete joke.
I still give Ottawa a slim chance. If they win game four, it's not so slim. Let's see what happens.
Yeah, that was a 'phantom', and in the very early part of the game, Ducks should have had a couple,
and nothing was called, but all in all, it probably evened out, but the Pronger one is a 'major', and
not called.
Yes, I remember that one very well, 'priceless', for sure.
I agree about Emery, he had a very weak game, and if he does that again, he won't
be so lucky to come out with a win.
I felt from the beginning, it would be important how he plays, (of course), but I think
gigiere is a much better goalie, so Emery has to match him to give his team a chance.

Pronger got a single game suspension for that elbow. What are everyone's comments about that? Do you think he should have gotten more or none at all?:?:

What angered the Ducks most was that Senators tough guy Chris Neil didn't receive similar supplementary discipline for a high hit on Andy McDonald midway through the second period of Game 3.
Burke asked Campbell to look closer at that incident and was told to mind his own business.

They need to be fair about it. If they're gonna suspend Pronger they gotta suspend Neil.
In my opinion, one game is enough, in the playoffs, there isn't time for the team to serve 4 or 5 games, and it would just be punishing the rest of his team, and not just him.
Are you actually saying that Campbell deliberately ignored a hit that would have deserved a
suspension, 'I don't think so', there is no bias on Campbell's part, he has no reason to do such a
thing, he has always been fair in the past, and, if Burke was told to mind his own business, he
probably said something outlandish, that deserved that comment.
I'm not a real fan of either team, although I am cheering for Sens, just to have a team to cheer for,
makes the games more fun.
If you got hit by a guy 6 ft 5, with one of those elbow pads, (which are far too hard, should be changed), you would be seeing stars too. Hits like that, to the head are usually a suspension,
they are trying, (not hard enough) to discourage hits to the head, and in Pronger's case, he is so
big, doesn't have to make much of a move to throw that elbow out like that, and he had other
choices, made the wrong one.
