Yep, I think Walter's opinion of any person was pretty much tied to a single criteria....................what political party the guy belonged to or agreed with. Regardless of political stripe I just can't understand why anyone would dislike Obama.

Actually, I never would have thought Americans would implement public healthcare, avoid another war, begin to accept climate change, let alone have a black president.
The number of people who support that administration and even Hilary Clinton already far outnumbers Donald Trump's support.
The overwhelming trend indeed has been toward progress and that's why people like Harper or Ford or Trump barely win by the skin of their teeth (rarely above 40%) while it's plainly obvious that the people who are obviously good people get rewarded with much more support.
Occasionally, you need to give clowns like Trump power to remind people of that.

For myself I think I've heard enough griping, wailing, grousing and moaning about Trump's victory from a bunch of petulant babies. However he did it, I'd say the end justifies the means and he had the wisdom and sagacity to pull it off and it's already starting to look like he's proving himself. So put a lid on it, BABIES!
