Old news.. they are there to protect the embassy... after Benghazi what would you expect. They are not fighting ground troops.

Yeah, 275 troops isn't going to do much if the ISIS make their way to Baghdad.... I'd just haul azz out of there now before they have 275 heads on a spike for their propaganda.

I'm not saying those troops wouldn't put up a good fight, but they would be extremely out gunned and out numbered and every single one of those ISIS guys would do everything they can to get some brownie points over dropping an American.

No boots on the ground... all troops will be issued hover boots.

Bush preferred the classics, but couldn't get them mass produced in time.

So you really are a Liberal!

Oh yeah... that's me! Harry Reid is my hero... he's so smart. Me and Gopher agree on everything and I long for Breezy to come back. Liberal to the core. ;)

Glenn Beck thinks you are. Only the Liberals got it right. This is what I mean by being branded. The media circus paints it all black and white.

ONLY the liberals got it right? Now did he say that? Come on now.

Right wingers on this forum used to call me "liberal" for opposing Bush's war even though I REPEATEDLY used links from this CONSERVATIVE site:

Antiwar.com

Of course, if there were any real conservatives on this forum they would have agreed with what I posted. But there aren't any real conservatives here - only those who believe in and support that which is politically correct and expedient for the GOP. That's because they do not live by or subscribe to any real principle.

Nobody is supporting Obama sending 300 some advisers to Iraq.

There are probably some people supporting Obama sending 275 troops to Iraq, but that's different

How is it different when troops are called advisers? Quagmires begin with the dispatch of troops to a war zone in the role of advisers. America has been down this road before.

Did he refer to anyone else getting it right?

Who here supports Obama's committing 300 some advisers to Iraq? How many of them will die? Who supports this nonsense? Identify yourselves.

Personally Im indifferent. Not my problem. Those who support him - probably a fair number of those who voted for him in 2012 and congress seeing as they gave him the money to do it. Unlike in 2008 those who voted for him in 2012 knew what they'd be getting.

It isn't. Im actually surprised that they are even using the term "advisors" again. I guess memories of how Vietnam got started are starting to fade.

We call you a liberal for more reason than that.

Phooey. If you believe that site or Rense or Cato are so ''liberal'', why not send them emails and ask them yourself as to what their affiliations are?

Bush made a colossal blunder in invading Iraq.

The US soldiers who fought in Iraq won the war militarily. The US taxpayer picked up the tab. The price was too high, but the price was paid and America had its military victory.

Obama refused to seriously negotiate a Status of Forces Agreement with the Iraqis. That put the military victory at risk from a political standpoint. Now the military victory won with blood and treasure has been thrown away for nothing more than political expediency.

When I heard that Obama is sending 300 Green Berets into a renewal of this conflict I couldn't help thinking about Leonidas and the 300 Spartans at the Battle of Thermopylae.

Some right wingers are blaming Obama for ISIS's recent actions. Instead of doing so, they need to know who is that organization's real pal:

Yes, it's that good old Republican McCain:

Photos of Senator McCain “chillin’” with ISIS Leaders in Syria Before Their Rampage Through Iraq | The Minority Report Blog

Notice again how I used a CONSERVATIVE source for this report.

And once again Gopher flips on McCain... the most respected man in the Senate he said in another post.

McCain is a tool

Notice again how I used a CONSERVATIVE source for this report.

Yes you did.

Did you NOTICE that the CONSERVATIVE source is ripping McCain a new a-hole?

Geez you're whacked.
